Aaron is leading the investigation of the members of the church. 

He looked into them to ensure that no one in the church had a relationship with Ecclesia. 

Argent is also working with Alicia as he is an A-rank adventurer. 

They are tasked to deal with the remaining intruders in the city.

She excels in head-on combat and her background as a former member of the kendo club in their world made it so that she is used to fighting a sparring match. 

She is an agile fighter and has decent stats, most are higher than Rio aside from the AGI stats. 

Kazue is agile but not as agile as Rio. 

  

  

Kazue has the advantage over Rio when it comes to overall stats. 

Still, it would be foolish for Kazue to think that this would be an easy win for her. 

Rio knew this, Kazue knew this. 

They both saw each other fight when they defeated that crazy Inquisitor during the Invasion. 

This is not a one-sided match, that is why Rio agreed to duel Kazue. 

Rio's advantage is that Kazue still has no ideas about her trump card. 

Kazue has no idea that Rio can read minds and is capable of taking advantage using this secret ability.

Kazue is better at fighting head-on while Rio was a bit inexperience compared to Kazue in that department. 

Rio still has the advantage as Kazue still has not discovered her skill to read minds. 

The two have plans on their heads on how to approach this friendly match. 

  

  

Hearing the names of familiar people in the magically amplified voice of the announcer caught the attention of the people who knew the participants of the next match. 

As the announcer who is also the acting referee was explaining the rules to both girls, the people who knew them went to the plaza to see what was up. 

Calm and Aaron. 

Yuma and Coco. 

Nikko and the otaku boys. 

Argent and Alicia. 

They all went to watch the match between Rio and Kazue. 

  

  

"Give each other some space before we start the match." <Announcer> 

Both girls walked away from each other until they were a distance apart. 

As the referee saw that the distance between the two girls was good enough he started his count. 

"Are both sides ready?" <Announcer> 

Rio and Kazue were ready and nodded at the announcer and referee of the match. 

"In the count of 10. 10,9,8,7,6... " <Announcer> 

Both posed into their preferred stance. 

  

  

 

 

"3,2,1. FIGHT!" <Announcer>
