Samantha and Ria were fighting as a team protecting each other and attacking in a synchronized manner, after training together for so long they already knew each other's fighting style perfectly.

Samantha started punching Roldus repeatedly in the chest and he just stood there with his arms outstretched receiving all the hits to taunt her

Samanta's hits were getting faster and faster and stronger and her gauntlets began to get very hot

In another area of the forest Arthur and Leiby were having trouble dealing with Maldina.

"Come on~ clearly you can't beat me, make it easy on me and let me kill you guys ok?"

Maldina said with clear annoyance in her voice.

Not paying attention to his comments, Leiby put his palms together and a large number of roots came out of the ground attacking Maldina

She cut them off with a quick swing of her naginata, but she didn't notice that Arthur had gotten behind her, when she turned around it was too late.

A blast of demonic power erupted from her body and the blade of her naginata burst into black flames

Arthur sensing the danger quickly stepped back, Maldina raised her naginata and with a downward motion expelled a slash of black flames that burned everything in its path.

Arthur seeing that he would not be able to dodge it reinforced his body to the maximum with mana and blocking with his spear received the attack from the front

Leiby shouted worriedly

When Arthur's figure became visible half of his uniform was scorched and he had burns on his right arm, if it hadn't been for reinforcing his body to the maximum and the protection provided by the uniform he would have received much more damage or even died

"Oh~ you didn't die? well, you still have to pay for what you did to my face."

 

Maldina quickly approached Arthur and began to attack him.

With a damaged arm Arthur did his best to block Maldina's attacks but more and more cuts appeared on his body.

Until one of Maldina's attacks broke his guard leaving him completely defenseless.

"Die!"

Maldina made the attack to finish off Arthur but

A powerful hit sent her flying away from Arthur.

A brown haired, green eyed young man reached out his hand to Arthur to help lift him up

"Are you okay?"

"Ugh, so-so."

Arthur took the boy's hand and stood up, grabbing his spear.

"Arthur!"

Leiby rushed over and quickly wrapped Arthur's wounds with thin roots like bandages

"Thanks, it doesn't hurt so much anymore, thanks to you too em..."

"My name is Lucas."

"Thank you Lucas, I could have died there"

Suddenly a great murderous intent stopped their conversation and Maldina slowly approached as black flames shot out of her naginata

"I thank you later, first we have to take care of this problem"

Several black stakes dug into the ground as Silfy dodged them mounted on a large wolf, but one of these managed to hit him and the wolf disappeared

"Phoenix!"

A phoenix made of flames appeared behind her and spreading its wings it launched a great amount of fire arrows towards Vice.

But without moving from his place he created a wall with his stakes blocking all the arrows, then he attacked again.

The phoenix grabbed Silfy by the shoulders and began to fly, what Silfy didn't expect was that the stakes changed direction and began to follow her, the phoenix flew skillfully while dodging the stakes and Silfy began to conjure magic to attack.

[Fireball]

Silfy began to launch a flurry of fireballs that Vice blocked with his stakes.

"How annoying"

"!!!"

Suddenly, the stakes started to move faster and pierced one of the phoenix's wings, as they fell the phoenix hugged Silfy to protect her from the impact

Bam!

When they hit the ground the phoenix disappeared and even though it protected her, Silfy still took a little damage

As she tried to get up she heard footsteps approaching and when she looked up she saw Vice walking towards her while looking at her with disdain.

"Elf princess..."

He summoned a stake behind him as he spoke.

"It's really disappointing."

Fum

The stake headed at a high speed towards Silfy.

Bam

But when it arrived towards where Silfy would have to be, there was no one there.

Without changing her expression Vice slowly moved her eyes and saw a blonde haired girl with a fairy on her shoulder holding Silfy in her arms

"Fiu~ I'm right on time."

"Noah!"

Silfy said in surprise

Noah moved quickly to dodge another stake that was headed towards them

"Can you move?"

"Yes!"

Noah left Silfy on the ground and walked towards Vice as he unsheathed his sword that emitted small lightning bolts

"Elida, I'm going to ask you to help us"

The little fairy emitted high-pitched squeals in agreement

"Okay...let's do this."
