Lucas was facing Maldina head on and Arthur with a wounded arm was waiting for the opportunity to attack, Leiby was at the rear supporting him with his roots.

Arthur watched in amazement at how Luke managed to predict all of Maldina's attacks to perfection

Already completely frustrated she raised high up her naginata to make a powerful attack, but roots emerged from the ground and held her arm tightly pinning her down immobilizing her

Arthur who saw this quickly moved in to attack.

Purple blood flowed from the tip of his spear but that was all, his attack failed to pierce Maldina causing only slight damage to her

Maldina muttered and her bright red eyes looked at Arthur with a deep anger as numerous veins appeared on her face

Maldina's naginata burned with an intense black fire and breaking the roots that bound it attacked with great strength

Some roots grabbed Arthur and quickly pulled him away.

Maldina stabbed her naginata into the ground causing an explosion of fire.

"Get behind me!"

Luke shouted and began condensing mana into his sword.

Lucas' sword glowed bright blue and when he swung it he created an arc of mana that collided with the explosion of fire slowing his advance

"Fuu~"

Lucas sighed as a bead of sweat ran down his cheek, he still hadn't fully mastered the Explosive Enhancement skill, so releasing such a powerful attack so fast took its toll on him

The smoke dispersed and they saw Maldina pulling out her sword stuck in the ground covered by a sinister aura with her naginata set ablaze.

Arthur walked to Lucas' side and said.

"This time you can't go it alone, I'll help you in any way I can."

Arthur grabbed his spear with his injured hand and wrapped it with roots so as not to let go.

"I'm counting on you"

"I'll support you too as best I can!"

Leiby shouted enthusiastically as he prepared himself.

After looking at each other for a few seconds Lucas and Arthur ran straight towards Maldina, Maldina just stood in place waiting for them

Lucas and Arthur attacked together but Maldina blocked their attacks with a skillful handling of her weapon.

Roots came out of the ground but Maldina cut them off effortlessly, then she turned and attacked expelling fire from her naginata that drove Arthur and Lucas away.

He ran towards Lucas attacking him with great ferocity.

"Hot!"

As the blade of the naginata was on fire when it cut Lucas felt a great burning, even when he blocked or dodged he could feel the elevated temperature

"Kgh!"

One of Maldina's attacks broke Lucas's guard and she prepared to finish him off

But Arthur came from the side avoiding him, then ran towards Maldina to continue his attack.

Attacking fiercely, the two were in a very close encounter, Arthur has been trained since he was a child in the handling of the spear, as far as he is concerned, no one can beat him in this area.

Maldina suddenly pulled out a red pill from her pocket and swallowed it.

As he swallowed the pill he began to squirm as the demonic energy seeped out, black colored veins began to appear all over his body and his eyes completely lost focus

An explosion of demonic energy erupted from his body and like a raging beast he lunged towards Lucas and Arthur.

In the blink of an eye it appeared in front of them and with a swing of its naginata it hit Lucas sending him flying crashing into many trees

Then with a swing he lifted his naginata and attacked Arthur from above

When Arthur tried to block the attack his feet were buried in the ground due to the force of the attack.

Several roots came out of the ground to try to stop Maldina but as soon as they touched her they were incinerated.

Seeing that he couldn't do anything to her, Leiby grabbed Arthur and pulled him away from her

"Ugh! He's so strong!"

Arthur who was in Leiby's arms moaned from the pain.

"I have something we can win with, but I need you to buy me time."

"How much?"

"About 10 minutes"

"All right, Lucas! Can you hold on for 10 more minutes!?"

Arthur asked Lucas who was recovering from Maldina's attack.

"10 minutes?"

He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said with a smile.

"I could go on for the whole day!"

"Haha perfect!"

The two of them started walking towards Maldina while using all the mana he had to improve their bodies

They propelled themselves towards Maldina and Maldina also did the same.

When their weapons impacted they cracked the floor beneath their feet and lucas' arms shook from the force.

Arthur shot the concentrated air and it emitted a high pitched whistling sound, Maldina tried to block it but the blade of her sword was pierced and Arthur's attack pierced her left shoulder

"Take that as retaliation for my right arm"

"Uuuaahhhhh!"

Maldina roared like a wild beast out of control and her naginata burst into an intense flame

When he was about to attack a pleasant scent flooded the place and the next moment something incredible happened.

A large number of flowers grew on the ground under their feet, their petals were flying creating a beautiful scene.

When they turned their gaze, they saw Leiby who had a different appearance from before, the white markings on her body became more complex and majestic and the flower on her head became a crown of flowers.
