How would you spend an eternity?

Like most Earthlings, Jack Trades had never thought too deeply about eternity. Busy with his PhD thesis, a vibrant social life, and a loving family, he had little time for such frivolous thoughts. But, on January 1st, 2025, everything changed.

With Earth’s induction into the grandiose Universal Game, a mysterious system descended into the minds of thousands, drafting them into the unforgiving, mind-breaking, and death-riddled Tutorial Levels. In legions of one thousand, these new Players fought side-by-side through the treacherous tutorial, hopeful to return to Earth.

Families waited anxiously for their loved ones to return. And then, miraculously, the Players returned with harrowing news of the dangers that approached Earth.

All except for one player—one player who did not return.
