Summary: An interesting and well developed isekai story, but probably not what you were expecting from the title. Also, read the tags and heed the content warnings. It has a prologue (It's a 000000000 Life) which I feel is gratuitously miserable, and which I advise you just skip.

I clicked on this story while browsing the Transgender tag feed. Based on the title, and the general themes of many other trans fiction on this website, I was I was expecting a fluffy romance. However: note the tags and the content warning on the chapters, this is not that sort of story! Instead, the main plot is a sci-fi isekai set in a strange fusion of middle-eastern feudalism, magic, and sci-fi. The magic system is completely novel (at least to me), and the plot is set in the backdrop of a successful revolution. The characters feel like they have realistic motivations and emotions, and the writing quality is not bad. This is not a happy novel, but neither is it excessively grimdark. The main character is impulsive, unreserved, scatterbrained, and stuffs up a lot. On the other hand, she also blames herself too much. Thus, readers may find her generally unlikable. Part of her character arc will, presumably, be to find a balance between these tendencies. Moreover, the main character suffers a lot, mostly due to no real fault of her own. Again, this is probably to set up her character arc, and to establish that the world is dark.

The main plot starts with revolution and political intrigue, paired with the home life of the royal main character. It has, at the point of the chapter at which I make this review, morphed into magical-school life set in the backdrop of the post-revolution. I hope the novel retains a mixture of the personal life of the main character and greater politics/world building, and does not devolve into just school life.

I have some criticisms of this work. The first is the prologue, which I think is gratuitous window dressing to develop an unlikable, impulsive lead, but one who is not bad—just down on her luck—so that she can have a moral development arc. It feels unearned, and marinates in the main character's messed up origins too long for my tastes. It also replicates the age old trope of the transgender prostitute who is also a drug addict. While I recognise this is, in fact, a pattern that plays out in the real world, I do not think society has developed enough that replicating this trope does more harm than good for transgender representation, without a clear reason for the trope. I also wonder what function the title plays: the main characters transness is essentially only there for the intro chapter, and has not been remarked upon since. She has been, to all appearances, isekaied into a cis-female. My feeling is she was made trans to make her backstory more tragic, which is not exactly the best reason. On the other hand, perhaps this theme of the novel has just not been developed yet.

In conclusion, this webnovel shines when it is developing it's novel magic sci-fi world and the main character's relationships with her family. The worldbuilding is excellent, and the writing is not bad. On the other hand, it has an abysmal prologue (It's a 000000000 Life), which mostly serves to set up the main character with a messed up past and character flaws. I would just advise skipping to the second chapter (The Greatest Loss), which contains enough context to set up the main character's messed up past without marinating in misery.
