This is a story about a Villain and a Witch.
Disclaimer: Please note that this work will also be made available on Royal Road and Webnovel, in addition to its publication here.
Three years ago, the sky over the magical world of Nethermere cracked, spewing spaceships from a so-called "superior" civilization. Their invasion? A spectacular flop. King Burn of Soulnaught—the most powerful man alive, a tyrant, and a genius—crushed them. Or so the legend goes.
But the invaders stayed, hawking shiny tech and worming their way into Nethermere’s future. Colonization loomed. Burn wasn’t having it. If anyone was going to conquer the world, it’d be him.
And he succeede—nope.
She happened.
A maddeningly beautiful witch reset time itself—seven loops—undoing everything Burn worked for. Her curse turned him into a pawn in her twisted game.
"Why? You're wondering if I've trapped you in a time loop?" she taunted, all smiles. "It’s not just a spell but a curse! Dear Villain, you are now Witchbound!"
Burn, furious and cursing her name, didn’t know what infuriated him more: her power, her schemes, or the fact that her presence tempted him in ways he didn’t dare admit.
Usually, the devil did the tempting.
But when the angel was this seductiv—COUGH—manipulative, even the devil felt the chill.
What to expect from this story:
A time-loop-checkpoint conquest story where the end goal is conquering the universe. The MCs? A genuine, unapologetic villain rocking the Lawful Evil vibe and a devastatingly beautiful Chaotic Good witch. Dripping with sarcasm, paired with slow-burning worldbuilding so you'll figure things out as you go. It’s medium-paced, tackling heavy topics like politics, war, and tight plotting—but don’t worry, it's squeezed in romance-comedy breaks to keep you breathing.
Speaking of romance, it’s one of the major centerpieces of the story. One female lead, no romantic drama. But beware: this story might have too much romance for you to handle. If you’re afraid of that, well... only cowards skip out on romance!
Expect a cocktail of classic high fantasy tropes blended with science fiction. Think modern isekai/gate/space vibes, featuring magic, mecha, strong-to-stronger characters, manipulative masterminds, and deliciously insane moments. Add to that: character growth, intricate connections, a Seinen demographic focus, kingdom building, military campaigns, world invasions, an apocalyptic tone, and sprinkles of legends, myths, world lore, and fairy tales.
It's a hilarious story about an overpowered tyrant and an immortal mage falling in love after the mage forces the tyrant into a time loop. The plot revolves around a war between a sci-fi Alliance and a fantasy world, with the Alliance coming across as hilariously incompetent and bureaucratic.
All in all, the book is a really good read.

I'll be honest, I did not expect much from this book because of one simple thing.
Time-Loop
So for those who hate seeing a good development only to be reset and discarded Fear Not! This book is not like that, the timeloop works in a progressive manner, each loop makes it so relationships are not lost and the progress is overall steady, and mark my words the time loop is not abused or overused in this book.
The first few chapters, simple golden, I was hooked. The MC being a true tyrant, not like those "Im bad but actually a good guy" nah this man is a bastard, an insane bastard but not like those I scheming backstabbing ones no no, this guy will fight you head on with nothing but wit and gritt to get what he so desires for his conquest, until he ran into an insane witch who matches his energy quite well, if he is Chaotic-evil she is Chaotic-good and damn do I love their dynamic, whats a good way to shut up a sassy smart-ass if not making him fight a sassier smart-ass? Gold I tell you

Just found out this Author posted this story here too. This is just a copy paste of my review over on Royal Road because this book deserves every support it can get.
I mean, where else can you find a story with such depth in character design? I don't usually dig into romance, but I agree that romance is actually necessary here. Contrasting it with the raw take on sovereignty and the burden the MC has carried on his shoulders his entire life, you need that sliver of hope called the FMC. Kek.
A man who rejected the warm embrace of death and a woman who was rejected by death. A man and a woman who carried the world on their backs. 184 chapters in, and this is not only a witty, haha funny story with unique and hilarious characters, but also a story with deep themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the meaning of existence.
There's a lot of smaller plotlines, but the main plotline is done very deliciously. By the look of it, we'll see every character's in depth exploration and every big bad's interesting ends. Without spoiling anything, I'm very interested in how the outer space plot will be explored and how the world lore will integrate in it. Will it be explored separately? Are there any connections between them? There are so much hints about other worlds and the plot exploded by the 100th+ chapters.
I don't have any complaint about the writing style, but man, I can't read this while doing something else. I had to sit down and read or else my brain's gonna be overstimulated. I wonder how it will be if it become an audio book, though. It might be an entirely different experience. Just, bravo.
This is a story of a man who took on the burden of blood and flesh, but why? I want to know! Please update quickly, Author! Background story when?? Give us pheasants, rainbow farts, or whatever, just drop the chapters!
(PS: I made this account just to review this. Never imagined I'd bend this way but fair enough.)

TL;DR: READ THIS!!!
What to say about this masterpiece? Where to start? The prose? The characters? The style? The plot?
My, my, so many choices and nothing but praise for this absolute Gem of a story.
It grips you, it pulls you in, wanting to read more, to know more, to skip ahead and get to their first true meeting, to hear the answer to the question "why?" you just wanna read more and more and more, to see them grow together, to get to know each other, to fight against impossible odds and come out victorious.
Should we perhaps talk about the absolutely delightful writing style? Descriptions so brilliantly executed it makes you chuckle before laughing at some silly humor sprinkled in.
Characters who actually have personalities, who laugh and grieve and cry with each other (well scowl in MC's case)
Ah, let's not forget the intrigue, the plot, the story, the lore, thought out in advance, written with clear goals and interwoven into a delightful, beautiful whole that grips you like a vice.
I could not stop reading, I skipped sleep just to binge this masterpiece. How does it have so little eyes on it~ Author, don't be disheartened! From an old reader of original works, someone who has waded these waters for almost two decades now, wonderfully done! Not often do I write Reviews, but this tale truly deserved it!
