Characters
Trevor MacLowell

Trevor is the ancestor of our hero, Marrok. He was a Lycan- that is, a natural born werewolf- as well as the archdruid for the conclave in Massachusetts. He disappeared at some time during the Revolutionary War, with reports saying he was sealed away by Bristish mages.

Location
Earth Prime
Earth Prime is the setting for this story, as well as for my other story, Armored Adventures. It is home to many heroes and origins. The most prevalent of superhero populations are Freedom City and Emerald City, both located in America. Each country across the world has at least one super team.

The world at large is not aware of magic and magical monsters, with most monsters being attributed to science experiments and mutations gone wrong.

In recent years, aliens have come to the publics eyes on earth, what with the Meta-Grue(Think super-skrull) and the Lor refugees. Most of them have been moved to a refuge on the moon Europa, orbiting Jupiter.

Miscellaneous
Freedom City in the Early Days

Founding of Freedom

Freedom City was established in 1630, when Puritan colonists from England and the Netherlands arrived in the New World. They founded a small, walled town at the confluence of two rivers on a great bay, named it Freedom, and started to trade with the local Native American tribes like the Happanuk. Eventually, the settlers came into cinflict with the natives as Freedom grew, and they fought a number of skirmishes. The settlement proved successful, leading more people to make thw difficult ocean crossing from europe, and bringing trouble along with them.

Prophet's Crusade

In the late 1600's, Freedom was home to the Reverend Elijah Prophet, a famous monster hunter and witch finder. Prophet was the driving force behind a 1694 witch hunt in freedom that lasted for nearly 2 years. Among the accused was Trevor "Lupus" MacLowell, an Irishman accused of being a lycantheope, who supposedly fled the authorities with the aid of "demons and evil spirits."

Although MacLowell was never captured, his wife as well as a dozen others were tried and either hung or burned at the stake for witchcraft and consorting eith the Devil. Prosecutor Lucius Cabot argued eloquently and forcefully to evict the accused, although historians believe the victims were entirely innocent. Thankfully, Freedom's witch hysteria burned itself out by the turn of the century, and Elijah Prophet moved on to other places and other hunts.
