A tired mage drops something. A flickering soul picks it up. Earth-Bet will never be the same again. Or, How a World Rune came to be in my possession. OC reincarnation.
Honestly, this novel is nothing short of AMAZING. Moreover, this novel is my first real exposure to worm in general and the first impression was stellar.
The overall pacing is fast enough to not feel like I'm going through the bog and slow enough to feel like we're not just rushing this. The character development is top notch, we can see how the MC changes throughout the story not just becoming powerful in a physical sense, but also developing strong mental (not strong enough to last a league match but still). Of course, we can't forget about other characters, which also develop and are getting semi-frequent pov chapters.
But the BIGGEST, most awesome aspect of this novel, is how author utilizes league lore, items creatures etc. Not only that, but all of these are incorporated in the story with little to no deviation to the lore.
Thank you for posting such a masterpiece here. °^°
I started reading this novel because I am a big fan of Worm, but I kept reading the story because of how interesting and well integrated the world of runeterra is into the story.
There are plenty of stories out there that just try to cash in on your pre existing love for a franchise to make you overlook poorly written characters and plot lines that were clearly not well thought out. This novel does not feel that way. The author has a firm idea for what they want this story to be and general plan for how to tell that story and it shows through the writing.
A man fills out a CYOA to become a seer. He ends up as Blaise Zabini, the *other* blank slate Slytherin. Definitely not a serious story, mostly written to murder some of my plot bunnies.
A soul was employed by a higher being to help him manage his world. How will our protagonist live her life to the fullest while also fulfilling her new duties?

Follow a bunny-chef with way too much power and way too little sense. Remnant will never be the same again.
