Grief-stricken and broken after losing his family in a tragic car accident, he turned to games, alcohol, and anything that could dull the pain. One game became his obsession—Chronicles of the Chosen. In it, he found solace playing as the commoner father of a hero character, a challenging role with a tragic fate that mirrored his own. Burdened by illness and a harsh reputation, this father was often overlooked, yet he held the key to the game’s most coveted ending.
After achieving the impossible and completing the game on its hardest difficulty, his heart still felt empty. Drowning in drink and sorrow, he made a final visit to his family’s graves. The world suddenly went dark. When he opened his eyes, he wasn’t in the cemetery anymore.
He had become the very character he once controlled. The commoner's father had an illness that would soon claim his life. Now, it's no longer a game in a world of magic, science, power struggles, and uncertainty.
"All I wanted was to spend the time I had with a family that I've built. I will not lose my family again. never again.."
Thus, the journey began for him to clear the game and save his son from the alternating fates that tied the world of Chronicles of the Chosen, as the dark and light forces wove his story in the world he found himself in.
