Even in the world's most advanced VRMMORPG, "Century Quest VIII: Advent of Heroes; Rift Reawakened", quest-lines get dropped. When that happens, programmers have to go out and get rid of all the related new loot, quests, and NPCs before that new code accidentally gets released in the next patch.

Sometimes, a programmer forgets where everything is saved.

Sometimes, an NPC gets left behind.

Sometimes, that NPC has a mind of her own.

Note: This LitRPG is SoS ( Soft on Stats ), i.e. I won't be listing out levels, stats, damage numbers, etc.
While I will be keeping tabs of things to remain internally consistent (as much as possible) it's not the part about this genre that intrigued me. Thanks!
