I decided to keep going with this for two main reasons. 1. You handle perspective shifts perfectly and describe things in a way that’s far from boring. 2. Even though I haven’t gotten too far, the story is already pretty intriguing and has me thinking about where it’s headed. You’re doing a great job with it. Any story that starts off with an electrocution and someone stealing a  mysterious jewelry item from the dead, is worth at least a few chapters of your time. The writer of this story does a great job at building the suspense within the first two chapters. I find the characters easily likeable. 

The alternation between perspectives is smoothly done as not to leave the reader with too many questions. The world building is slow and steady as it should be for a MC who have never experienced a different dimension before.

 My greatest questions from the first five chapters are "Will he get a second chance with him now that he knows?" 

"Can one actually cheat death?" Reincarnation usually comes with a price.
