A hover transport construct widely used across Vesteria, controlled through hand gestures.

Disruptor
A military technology used in warfare that disperses nanoparticles at light speed across a designated radius, disrupting homing weapons that track energy. This includes heat seekers, Evocyte seekers, and leyline based technologies such as arcane networks and translocators.

Skyship

vortiga

Advanced aerial vessels used across Vesteria for both military and civilian purposes. Introduced in 672 Ad Felicitas, they are controlled through mental commands via a Command Nexus. There are three primary classes: Flagship, Cruiser, and Corvette.

Skystriker
Striker

Advanced aerial constructs that form the primary offensive and defensive force of Vesteria’s air fleets. They are controlled through mental commands via a Command Nexus by an operator stationed on a skyship’s bridge. There are two classes: Assault and Transport.

Golem
golem
imperial golem
glm artelery

Advanced land based hover war constructs, typically around eight meters tall, equipped with blade like legs. They are controlled through mental commands via a Command Nexus by an operator. There are two classes: Assault and Artillery, with the latter designed in a four legged, insect like form.

Command Nexus
A neural interface that links the primary operator’s consciousness to a construct’s Evocyte core, enabling real time control.

Automaton
Arcane powered constructs that serve civil, industrial, and leisure roles. They come in many forms, including animal shapes, geometric designs, and humanoid types, the latter often used as personal servants.

Evocyte

Evocyte naturally flows through all living beings and leylines, the natural energy channels that power cities, machines, and daily life. Leylines rely on a symbiotic relationship with plant life. Vegetation strengthens Evocyte flow, maintaining the balance between nature and magic. Nearly all Vesterians depend on Evocyte-based tools and advanced technology.

Evocaiers are individuals in Vesteria who harness Evocyte. In ancient times, some could control it naturally, but that ability has largely vanished. During the age of the Empire, only Primordials and certain wild creatures could use Evocyte without devices.

Lumina Core is a wrist-mounted device with a holographic interface. It awakens dormant Evocyte for first-time users. With sufficient training, users may later cast without it. The device stores and converts Evocyte, supports communication and media, and includes Arcane Resonance Frequency technology for backup during network disruptions.

Types of Evocaier:

Primordial
Rare beings born with a direct connection to Evocyte. They require no devices, possess vast reserves, recover quickly, age slowly, and can live for thousands of years. This trait occurs naturally among Selvarians and Kaenians.

Adept
Modern Evocaiers who regain natural control through rigorous training from childhood. Roughly 70 percent of trainees in the neutral zone achieve this due to the Elysium Tradition and Order methods. Adepts retain a youthful appearance and live up to a century.

Regular
Users who rely on Lumina Cores to access and control Evocyte. This is the most common type across Vesteria.

Ascendant
Extremely rare individuals who awaken a deeper bond with Evocyte later in life, often after extreme emotional, physical, or mystical experiences. Ascendants inherit all Primordial traits, possess five times the energy of regular users, resist exhaustion from ultimate techniques, and suffer fewer potion side effects.

How Evocyte and Magic Work
Evocyte is a fundamental energy that can be converted into other forms of energy or matter.
It is stored within the lymphatic system, while red blood cells produce an immature form. Potions accelerate this maturation process, allowing Evocyte to become usable within the lymphatic system. Lumina Core reserves mimic the atomic structure of the lymphatic system, enabling safe external usage.
Blood magic, who normally the user was Cytastyla, accesses immature Evocyte directly from red blood cells. This grants massive reserves but destroys those cells in the process.
Scholars believe sigils and spell codes existed long before the ancient age of the Guardian Beasts. Some claim they were bestowed by the Creator, while others believe the world itself shaped them through leylines.

Core Formula
[Will] + [Sigil Code] + [Evocyte] = Magical Effect

Evocyte Sensing
All people can sense Evocyte within leylines and other individuals, but only through intense training. Sorcerers and similar casters who rely on homing spells are trained to perceive it precisely. Many Sorcs favor lighter combat clothing, as direct skin contact improves Evocyte sensitivity and accuracy.

Evocyte Regeneration
Natural
Evocyte regenerates gradually over time. Recovery improves during rest and emotional calm. Poor physical condition, stress, or excessive use slows the process.
Unnatural
External methods accelerate recovery but carry risks.
Potions: They work by accelerating Evocyte maturation within red blood cells.
Lumina Core Reserves: Converts environmental Evocyte atoms into the same structure as mature bodily Evocyte for use. The process requires time and has a maximum capacity.

Limits and Risks
Psychological Strain
Grief, fear, and anxiety slow regeneration. Severe emotional distress can halt recovery entirely.
Physical Damage
Rapid replenishment strains the body, causing pain or long-term harm.
Backlash Effects: muscle spasms, headaches, dizziness, temporary paralysis.
Extreme Overuse
Severe exhaustion may cause collapse, internal bleeding, cardiac failure, or death.

Evocyte Abilities

Basic Abilities
Telekinesis: Manipulation of inanimate objects.
Evocyte Link: Energy tethers used for control or mobility.
Natural Barrier: A defensive shield sustained by Evocyte reserves. When breached, it regenerates over time at additional cost.

Advanced Abilities
Elemental Sigils:
Eight affinities
  1. Fire (Red-Blue, rare)
  2. Lightning (Blue-Violet)
  3. Dark (Magenta-Black)
  4. Light (Golden Yellow)
  5. Geo (Brown)
  6. Wind (Green)
  7. Exalt ( Colorless raw Evocyte, its eventual color shaped by the user’s personality.)
Manifestation:
Weapons, armor, clothing, or capes formed through focused intent. Outfit manifestation requires three to four years of training. All manifestations drain Evocyte and dissipate when reserves fall too low.

Enchanted Sight:
A rare ability among beast races that allows perception of Evocyte traces. Each Evocaier signature is unique, defined by color, shape, and code.
Tracking limits
Most effective within 12 hours
Fully fades after 24 hours
Distorted by weather, interference, or spatial anomalies

Sound and Environmental Magic:
Nereid races cast magic through song, producing specific notes with their voices or instruments along sea leylines.

Sigils and Spellcasting

Sigils are mentally formed conduits that shape Evocyte into effects.

Studying Sigils
Basic Training
  • Memorizing fundamental symbols
  • Understanding Evocyte flow
  • Practicing drawn sigils using chalk and telekinesis
Advanced Training
  • Mental visualization
  • Pattern refinement
  • Elemental combinations
  • Memory Techniques
  • Repetition
  • Emotional or symbolic association
Sigil books and crystal records
Modern storage through arcane networks or Lumina Cores

Class System: Sigil Mastery
Sigils are difficult to learn, and the number of spells one can master is limited. To maximize efficiency and ensure practical combat and utility use, a class system exists. With years of training, sigil casting becomes instinctive.
Standard Class Progression
Two basic spells, one of which evolves later
One class-exclusive spell
Five to six core spells
One ultimate spell
This structure is considered the most stable and efficient, based on the limits of sigil memorization an average person can achieve. Exceptional individuals may surpass these limits and develop unique styles.
