The world is a mysterious place, and other worlds are mysterious in their own ways. Some places and people take those of worlds like ours and toss them into another. Some become heroes, some create kingdoms, some live a merry and cheerful life, but some, like the one here, simply want to live a peaceful life. Life, of course, does not have habit of fulfilling the whims of the people and so to get the life you choose, you have to work for it. In a world of monsters, battle, magic, and even the gods themselves, a child works its way to the future it chooses, and maybe makes some new friends along the way.
