At age 19, Gregory and Stephanie have found themselves alone in Edinburgh University Hospital, abandoned since 2009. They were on the brink of death when a group of women who call themselves the Medicus saved them. Stephanie discovers a magical world called Eden, and Gregory finds that the world he knew had continued without him. The two will follow two separate paths to uncover the secrets of the Medicus and their past, but they will quickly realize that it was more than what they had bargained for.
