Kayla and Craig are best friends in desperate need of an escape from the capitalist dystopia weighing them down. Late one night, they discover a stranded time machine hidden in the forest that is piloted by a cyborg, "artificial organic," named Glyph who promises them a vacation 1000 years in the future. They set off on a getaway beyond their wildest dreams, but soon learn that a danger of exploring the future is uncovering more than you should about what's right around the corner when you return.
