The apocalypse was just the opening gambit.
Before the sky flashed violet and the laws of physics shattered, Rom was a corporate spreadsheet-jockey on his way to lay off his team. Minutes later, he’s bleeding out on a ruined Montreal sidewalk, his leg shattered by a freak anomaly of parasitic black frost.
Rom survives the end of the world, but he doesn't wake up strictly human. He is now a living bio-electric generator, strapped into an experimental, weaponized exoskeleton. By "Overclocking" his system, he can push his regenerative and destructive powers past impossible limits—if the sheer voltage doesn't burn him to ash first.
In a city terrorized by concrete-fused mutants, undead hordes, and rogue elementals, Rom finds an unlikely ally in Natalie: a sweet-natured vet tech who, with a single bite of food, transforms into an eight-foot-tall, fire-breathing crimson titan. Together, they become the vanguard for a fragile survivor settlement hiding in the ruins of Montreal.
But surviving the wasteland is only half the battle. Inside their fortified walls, people with new powers are dying in gruesome, inexplicable ways. As paranoia fractures the community, Rom and Natalie must master their volatile abilities to uncover the truth.
Earth has been infected by a cosmic horror, and the survivors are running out of time. To save the remnants of humanity, Rom and Natalie can't just be survivors. They have to become Warlords.
