In this unpredictable world, our control over what happens is often limited. Kagami, a devoted father and programmer, finds himself in a strange and unfamiliar world. He questions whether he ended up here by his own doing, or if external factors played a role. As he wanders this unknown land, he grapples with his choices and their consequences. But the truth of his situation remains elusive, refusing to reveal itself.

As he gazes at the night sky, Kagami wonders if his fate will be like the video game he once created - a story of triumph and glory, or one of tragedy and despair. Regardless of how it ends, Kagami is determined to uncover the truth behind his current circumstances, and in doing so, perhaps shed light on the mysteries of his old world.

While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you.
