Humanity has unlocked the stars, albeit in a strange way.

Though they are not alone, they managed to navigate the universe and encounter the single most valuable resource to ever exist.

Every being in known space seeks it, and the wealth that follows behind.

This is not that story. In fact, right now Darrius couldn't care in the least.

Darrius, who is quite literally the son of a sword, and born with great power, now seeks to make his own legacy and make him proud. To conquer those within his grasp and outside it, however, he'll need a lot more than a bit of talent and gusto.

"Death? Well, perhaps it's time to redefine it. Perhaps... a new post-mortem?"

I plan on using space exploration, hidden identity, and non-mainstream weapons in differing amounts.

Space exploration will happen, but only a bit at the beginning, and much more so later. Hidden identity will happen every now and then. What I'm most excited about is getting to use different ideas for weapons and other such things that aliens use and that humanity has adapted too! Can't wait to have fun with you guys!

Oh, and expect a lot of people's heads to get bashed in with a book. A really, really heavy book.
