The mother of Lakshman Chand. She is a kind, loving, and a caring person that does her best and dotes over her family, especially her only son.

The Chand's family maid. She is a simple, but bright worker that does her best to look after the Chand household and help Lakshmi in cooking. She also supervises their son's education, manners, and discipline since his parents didn't want to have him attend the local school.
