As the genius Magic Array Master, Aldwynn is sought after by many of distinguished figures. Most of them invites him to either help them with protective arrays for their residence or to unseal magic arrays that hides precious treasures.

Of course, with talents, comes fame. Many factions tried to recruit him, wanting to take him as their own only to be rejected. Aldwynn preferred freedom, and he loved his carefree life. Unfortunately, his life was ended abruptly and the person who dealt the killing blow was none other than his own disciple, whom he trusted the most.

He has died... or so he thought.

To his surprise, he had just closed his eyes when he felt a splash of cold water dropped onto his body. Before he could assess his situation, he was then beaten down by several people. Aldwynn was angered and wanted to fight back but when he tried to move, he realized that his body is not cooperating with him at all!
