Two chapters in, and I can gladly say that this is quite the interesting start to a story.
We start off with an isekai/transmigrated protagonist who isn't the traditional normie, but rather a jerk. Don't let that throw you off, though. On the second chapter, he's shown to be a person who got guts and tenacity. A bully victim who has enough self-respect and incentive to not be one - to not just take it laying down. This right here and the following parts in chapter two pretty much cements his stance in life and the foundation of his character in this story. The perfect qualities for a person who is going to get isekai'd/transmigrated into the body of a character that had been deemed useless when compared to his two other siblings and had even ended up getting cucked by one (I repeat, MC did not get cucked, the person whose body he took over did).
I don't know what to expect moving forward from here, but I'm just hoping that the MC won't act too troublesome like he did in the first chapter. He got knocked the F-out by a normal student, so I hope he won't be trying to catch smoke with everyone he cross paths with just yet.
Other than the facts and hopes for the MC, I appreciate the fact that he's not starting off with some sort of OP god given power. He's starting off with what the original body owner has. But, I still would like him to get some sort of power up special to him (he is competing with a person who can operate time and a generic power-fantasy harem protagonist). It seems like the original body owner was actually aware that he's in a fictional story, and had even wanted to commit suicide over it. That is something that should be revisited and elaborated upon. Hell, this fact and the fact that the MC himself is aware that he's now in a novel should be some sort of special power origin. Something more than just both of their 4th wall awareness. Go crazy with whatever.
I have hopes for this story. Leaving a 5-star review in order to attract more readers.
I enjoy the setup and story so far but I find trying to read with the current formatting of the text is headache-inducing as I usually go back and forth to make sure I know who's talking. Still pretty good potential for a story
A game that remained unbeatable even after 10 years of its release due to its extreme difficulty.
I became a villain inside that game.
“No, why did I have to become this character!?”
