A son's character or behavior can be expected to resemble that of his father. This considerable resemblance gave birth to the phrase "Like father, Like son". In a society where fathers are heroes for their sons and sons proud of their fathers, a coming of age story that focuses on the other side which leads to flowers being delivered inside a paper bag.
