It's been four long years since the start of the zombie apocalypse, and Luca has been a disappointment to his sergeant father for such a long time. Then just as he finally managed to figure out that he does in fact have an ability. He inexplicably died while using his power and somehow woke up in the body of a beat-up orphan dressed in rags. He can no longer live comfortably in the base and has to fight to survive. With a new body, new background, and no chance to return to his previous life, Luca struggles to create a good life for himself as he joins a team and goes out of the base to complete missions. He creates strong bonds with his new teammates and strives to live a better life.
