If you were offered a deal that granted fame, power, and worship at the cost of your vision would you take it? Would such things really be worth living in a world where you'd never see the blue sky again? In a world where the faces of those you love will forever allude you? To never see them smile or look lovingly in your direction? At that point... is such a deal really worth taking?

Well, that's not really what happens in this story but I guess it's pretty close.

Being reborn in a familiar yet new world, Erland chases after his dream of being an adventurer despite the odds being stacked against him. At least that's what it looks like at first... Until he later comes to the conclusion that maybe his sight at birth was traded for something even greater.

"Money? Fame? Worship? I can gain those things even without my vision with my own two hands!" Though it's not really what he's after, he doesn't mind chasing after those things even if it's just to slap the world in its face.

Then again, I gotta admit the starting abilities of both protagonists are awfully similar... But that's kinda where the similarities start and end, well there's the fact they're both blind too...
