Follow Reuben (Ruby for short) Xiao Long, as him and his class are transported to another world to fight a war against the demon race. After falling deep into the Labyrinth, trying to save his friend, he falls into a pool of darkness, forever changing him into something much darker.
(I don't own anything.)
For some reason I feel Ruby Xiang long is a reference to something... (this is satire I know exactly what that’s referring too)

This is basically a "arifureta from commonplace to world's strongest" x "RWBY" crossover, but the author didn't credit either works. It is essentially a shameless recreation with one added idea that doesn't change the cannon story at all.
The author has some continuity errors, spelling mistakes and needs to work on their descriptions (these things do improve as the story goes on). The characters are dry and boring. The main character seems to have had a complete personality transplant after their transformation l, which isn't explored by themselves or the other characters. Additionally, this personality transplant seems to be generic Ruby with grimm instincts and a bend towards useless female isakai harem member number 2.
And for some reason RWBY is gender bent from a man into a woman, which doesn't seem to serve any purpose in the story. I don't have a problem with gender bending, I have a problem when it doesn't enhance the plot in any way (which is half of the genre).
