Because Brockton Bay, and the rest of Earth Bet for that matter, didn't have enough eldritch nonsense to deal with in the form of the Entities. Now they've got some next level competition.

Disclaimer: So I've had this idea floating around in the back of my head for a while now, and I recently started watching a playthrough of Prey (2017) and I couldn't get it out of my head, so I decided "fuck it, we ball".

What to expect: Basically, human mind transplanted into a Mimic. Things quickly escalate from there due to the uniqueness of Typhon biology paired with a mind that understands how to exploit that biology.

Since it came up, I'll take this moment to clarify. Just because certain content that's indicated by tags hasn't come up in-story so far does NOT mean that it won't, I just like to preemptively put tags in to cover planned content.

UPDATE: Tapped the standard Worm CYOA as I like to do, things are mostly going to be the same but our Protagonist received some... upgrades... from the CYOA. MCU addition is mainly due to MC being a Typhon/Klyntar Hybrid but I'm going with a slightly more grounded interpretation of the Klyntar (none of that "Knull" nonsense this or "Living Abyss" that. They're more along the lines of Eldritch slimes... kind of like watered down Shoggoths in a way.)
