I spent life-times living in a sword and magic world. Long enough to hate the stupidity of it all.
I mean it wasn't all bad, destroying empires, crafting new magics, creating labyrinths are all great, but being a slave or having learning all the different flavors of garbage just sucks.
After all the cliche kings, predictably corrupt guards, and ignorant peasants to stupid to lift their heads, I finally got free!
Books, phones, toilets! The Modern World!
