Dark One is set in the kingdom of Vorthe, a land that has earned its peace and stability as a result of the efforts and sacrifices of past heroes. But alas, calamity draws near! A being of unearthly hunger for chaos and destruction, which leaves ghost cities in its wake — a creation of the Cataclysm from eons past — will soon be awakened.
The Royal family goes to great lengths to cover this up as the utmost of secrets. However, our protagonist, Jerome, was reborn in Vorthe to inherit this Ancient Dark Power.
Jerome will embark on a journey to rescue his friends and family who will be displaced all around the kingdom of Vorthe, all while escaping condemnation brought down upon him by the will of powers he should never have raised his hand in resistance against. All these he does while keeping the Beast inside him at bay. But it bides its time, waiting...
For a moment of weakness.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Dark One is a Progression Fantasy Web novel. It’s set in a world where humans can obtain supernatural powers and grow in these powers to become stronger depending on their aptitude, and their fortunate encounters along their journey as sacred artists.
A sacred artist’s advancement is quantified through a system called Realms — like stages of growth. The dream of every sacred artist is immortality — if they don’t lose their motivation along the way.
Longevity is not uncommon, but immortality is a thing of legend!
Important Notice: With the current path the story is taking, it will slowly become harem themed. But the plot would remain the overall focus.
It's pretty good. The writing is usually pretty understandable, though it sometimes gets a bit awkward but overall its good. Now as for the plot, I don't feel like its fair to make any critical judgments from just chapter 10, especially since this is when it seems it will finally start picking pace, but so far, it was pretty generic. The Main Character, I don't particularly like or dislike. I mean he's a good character, just didn't stand out to me. He's kind of in a cycle of being somewhat boring and then saying some interesting stuff. The power system is fairly unique and the story defineately has quite a bit of potential. Though it's quite new as of now.
I recommend you give it a try yourself!

This is readable but hard to read.
Now let me explain.
The spelling itself is fine, so is the grammar. The flow however is not. It's awkward, the scene transitions need a lot of work and it feels like there are things missing every other paragraph. This is a very abstract read in my opinion. You need to infer a lot because the author leaves out information you'd expect to have. I don't know if there's language barrier or if this is just the author style. It's quite odd to be honest.
It almost feels like it's a mtl that translates literally but misses tons of context but if so, it's edited so damn well I can't quite tell. I don't think its an mtl but it's definitely a struggle to read like one.
I skipped ahead a bit and it seems to have gotten better. I might revise my review in the future.
