Found and adopted by a small crime family, Ellie was raised alongside their biological daughter, Cordelia, as part of the family. She has brown hair and brown eyes, but typically wears green contacts. Normally a straight-A student, she is organized and fastidious, but with an impatient streak.

Geoff spent his childhood on the streets and then a youth correctional center before he escaped and was taken in by the infamous and elusive Ombra, the underworld's most infamous supervillain. Easily bored, but not stupid, he just wants to enjoy life where he can, ignoring the pressure and expectations from his "gramps." Geoff has red hair, reddish brown eyes, and freckles. He is lanky and still growing.

Rose was originally from Southern California, but due to some light stabbing, was sentenced to some time behind bars. She skipped town, changed her name, and eventually ended up in Illinois and falling into the employ of the Gardners. She was initially assigned to keep an eye on their daughters Ellie and Cordy. She soon proved herself to be a good investigator and spy. She has brightly dyed red hair and flower tattoos on her arms and neck and often takes after the vintage pinup aesthetic.

An accomplished cat burglar with a hoverboard of mysterious source (but definitely stolen). He specializes in art ransom, especially from Alex Bannon, who both has the money and patience to pay the requested ransom on time. Dubbed the Slimer in popular media because of a slightly blue, sticky residue left behind in the crime scene and returned items. It's a formula to destroy any trace evidence that also doesn't damage the art. Ellie is still annoyed he beat her at the theft of the golden cube.

Orhan, Kellinore, Alandrea, and Sharinia Sinclair are a close knit family of unknown origin. Orhan is the eldest. Kellinore and Alandrea are twins. Shari is Alandrea's daughter. They do their best to obfuscate their past, even using an artificial accent to hide their history. They specialize in interpersonal relations and fundraising. The names they use are definitely not their real names and they are infamous for coming up with unusual names for their aliases. They are pale skinned with blue eyes, straight black hair, and expensive tastes.

Kellinore runs the day to day business of the Sirens' Dream with Alandrea helping when she can. Orhan handles the shadier side of the business.

They have a large pool of loyal people in the organization and Orhan has implied that they acquire these people at their lowest points, and build them up over time.

Ellie's high school rival. They didn't like each other from the start and traded barbs that escalated to pranks to trying to get each other expelled to legal conflicts that bankrupted their families. Darla seems to be trying to rebuild the family fortune using a multilevel marketing scheme selling addictive smoothies and associating with shady figures. She has naturally light brown hair that is currently bleached blonde.
