Sybil lives the simple ecclesiastical life in an unusual England, enjoying the pastoral life with her beloved Judith. Yet as faith and fear come into conflict, strange and mysterious events consume Weston Abbey. Death and bloodshed begin to stalk the grounds of her grandfather's home and Sybil must overcome her own family history to discover their source. Though perhaps the conclusion of this short tale is beyond even the studied mind of a 17th century nun. Perhaps her grandfather had uncovered a tide of horror so grand that all things sane were consumed by it. Or that thirst had always been present. Time and type shall tell the tale.
