As an antique of a creature, scales loose and even seeming to carry their own form of rust, rests before a blazing hearth, a group of half a dozen children rushes up before him, some climbing onto his lap, others sitting down on the ground nearby. 

"Tell us a story grandpa, please!" They collectively beg, their eyes round and shining with curiosity. 

"Alright. I guess I can tell you a story. Hmm. If I recall correctly, this particular tale is from two thousand or so years ago, back when I was only a thousand. Anyway, my friends and I had just graduated from the Auscu Corp Guardian Program and were participating in the annual quad-tournament." With the rasping of his ancient voice, he begins to spin a tale of time long past. The air shimmers and ripples as reality itself bends to give image to his story for his eager little audience.
