Eris

Vitaals

The previous presiding AI of the Mechanical Clan (a group of people, androids and cyborgs who can command machinery), he has taught Eris and Fantasia in the realm of weaponless combat. He will not appear later on in the work.

Taiga Neverwinter

Items
shivri

(SHIV-ree) - Imaginarian - (noun) - A species of obnoxious-smelling mushroom similar in appearance to the common inkcap mushroom (Coprinopsis atramentaria) on Earth. Used to aid in the purging of poisons from the digestive tract and very distasteful. Only farmed in the Venom Clan city of Toxicon.

Hag'kistux

(Haag - uh - kissed - UCKS) - Imaginarian - (noun) - Literally translates to “mind’s eye” in Imaginarian. A blade forged for Kullervo, the High Emperor upon gaining the powers of the Mind Clan. Often used more for defence rather than offence, especially due to its incredible weight. Highly attuned to telekinesis which, quite frankly, is the only way to properly wield a sword of such size and weight.

Pasrangivel

(Pazz - RAN - jev - all) - Imaginarian - (noun) - Literally translates to “black cleaver” in Imaginarian. A standard one-handed longsword forged from star steel for Kullervo, the High Emperor upon gaining the powers of the Darkness Clan. Highly attuned to dark energy and is one of few blades that can cause physical damage to an individual by stabbing their shadow.

Ignilion

(ig-NILL-eon) - Imaginarian - (noun) -Literally translates to “burning lord” in Imaginarian. A two-handed claymore crafted specifically for Kullervo, the High Emperor, by the Fire Clan to wield with only one hand. Over time, this weapon has become favoured by him for executions and in sparring. It is capable of channelling massive amounts of Core energy to become engulfed in flames of an intensity that stands a step above similar weapons created by the Fire Clan. It is unknown if any other entity is capable of holding or wielding a weapon of this size and calibre. Other seasoned warriors have described it as appearing “unwieldy” and “awkward”.

juneaurcrast

(June - AR - crust) - Imaginarian - (noun) - a type of flax or hemp grown in the Ice Clan city of Cryox for use in clothing or other woven goods. Due to growing close to the Clan’s Core crystal, even when woven into something else, the plant retains its ability to emit small amounts of the Ice Clan’s power. This is used to great effect when worn by this Clan, creating a mirror that reflects their power back to them rather than allowing it to dispel. This presents a cooling effect similar to a refrigerator. This plant on its own is bartered to other Clans for multiple different goods and services other than what’s shown in the chapter it appears in. Consider why those specific goods and services are mentioned in the text.

Location
Cryox

The city of the Ice Clan (those who command frost) hewn out of a crater to the farthest north point of the Continent. The population consists primarily of Imaginarians, the primary species living on the Continent who bear wings and elemental powers.

Miscellaneous
postbellum

English - (adjective) - Post (English - after) + bellum (Latin - war).

geravin

(JER-ah-vin) - Imaginarian - (noun) - A large, widespread species of reptile farmed like cattle across the continent of Imaginarion. All parts of the animal are used with the skin being tanned like leather, teeth and bones used in various weapons, tools and even eating utensils.

Sol-Ano

(Sool-Uh-nah) - Imaginarian - (noun) - The solar body that the planet of Imaginarion orbits. Dictates day and night in a similar twenty-four hour cycle as Earth. The name originates from the Ancient Nocturnian belief that this was the first of many suns inhabited by their gods, the Gloryus, with Sol-Ano in question being the first of these.

typinole

(TIP- in - ole) - Imaginarian - (plural noun) - As it appears in the text, this is the plural form of the word “Typin” (tip-PIN). A wild animal native to the northernmost portions of the Continent. Some blend of wolf and deer sprung from the power of the Ice Clan’s Core crystal. Stands at about six feet at the shoulder and can reach as long as seven feet in length. Males and females possess horns similar in appearance to those of deer made of ice that continuously grow throughout their lives. Their teeth are made of the same substance but, while predatory, they are known for being docile and can be tamed to assist in reaching the Ice Clan city of Cryox.

fonterling

(Font-ERR-link) - Imaginarian - (adjective) - wandering, more closely implies more of a directed or intentional path rather than rambling or relaxed walking. Can also mean ‘carving a path forward’ when used as a phrase rather than an adjective.

peqtissin

(PEG-tiss-in) - Imaginarian - (noun) - very heavily corrupted form of the word “vegrissan” (vague-riss-on), the Imaginarian word for ‘queen’ or ‘matriarch’ with connotations of great motherly strength.
