A self-sufficient man, whose life has not been without difficult situations, on the threshold of mankind's entry into a new era of interstellar travel, gets into minor troubles. Overnight his life slides to the bottom, from where the knocking starts again, and so it goes on until he wakes up amidst the ruins of his own civilisation.
But loneliness and the loss of his everyday surroundings are not the worst of his list of problems. Becoming the test subject of an experiment that radically changed his appearance, he is forced to confront the dangers in the aftermath of a global catastrophe.
Meeting with the few survivors who fanatically believe in myths about the end of the world, turns out to be a chain of trials and adventures for the hero. He will have to endure a fierce struggle for survival amidst tribal wars, chaos of natural elements and ambiguous attitude of people. All for the sake of finding answers to questions about the catastrophe and his own destiny.
