A Familiar Tale of Sheep and Magic manages to build out an interesting world and pair of characters. The two protagonists are both endearing and their journeys through gender and s*xuality are equal parts heart warming and aching. It's rare that a hatching scene hits me quite so close to home and I'm very excited to see where this story goes.
Florence's prose and story telling are excellent.
