Ezra King may not have been the coolest, the tallest, or the most athletic, but he had always proven to be the most dependable. A persona that lent itself well to the mantle of class president. He was a junior in high school, and no one could deny his efforts - and neither could they get close enough to look behind his shiny facade.
Wherever darkness hid in plain sight, he would be there to enforce the will of his master, Ophiuchus. As his alter ego "Renegade", he would inevitably try and judge whoever was unlucky enough to find their name on his hit list.

But when someone in his personal life suddenly falls victim to a crime, he finds himself drawn into an endless loop of hiding and self-doubt, torn between conflicts of loyalty and feelings of pain he has never faced before. Was sleeping with men he'd just met the answer, or was he just running away from that one guy who suddenly burst into his life and never wanted to leave?
And will any of this even matter, as the Keys, which open the door to the underworld, are targeted by an unknown group of people? Now they need to keep all hell from breaking loose.
