It's a really nice novel. A new take on Isekai that I haven't yet seen and also the theme and mood of the novel feels special.
Would give it a try.
Longer review:
As an isekai, there's a few twists already. For example, the isekaid protagonist is a ghost that's been wandering the earth. And when he finally gets isekaid, he doesn't even get a body of his own. He gets stuck inside the head of a boy, which is our MC. I feel bad for Endra lol
Speaking of Endra, the strongest part of this novel was for sure the characters.
As the voice inside Evin's head, who was wandering the earth for who knows how long, he's definitely insane and unrestrained, so it's fun to read his dialogue. And not just his dialogue, it's fun to see him not caring about the risks and dangers and actually acting unrestrained as well.
Spoiler
He actually tries to kill the infamous 'spoiled noble young master' coz he was pissed and he does it all while filling Evin's head with mad laughter
[collapse]
And it's not like the other characters are blind. They immediately notice that there's something weird inside the MC's head and tries to get to the bottom of it. They each have their own ideas regarding it, so it's fun to read their different reactions and deductions.
If you're someone who likes character-centric novels this is definitely a good one for you
As for the other aspects of the novel:
The quality of the writing is great, there's nothing to nitpick there
The pacing is ok, but there's a couple infodumps here and there.
But it's a very hard magic system, so infodump is kinda inevitable. I also liked how there are Worlds of Magic, not just bare magic. It reminds me a lot about Malazan. I hope in the future, there'll be ways to enter these worlds, not just receive power from them.
TLDR
It's a really nice novel. A new take on Isekai that I haven't yet seen and also the theme and mood of the novel feels special.
Would give it a try.
