James Brooks is an average high schooler in New Atlantis, a city teeming with superhumans. Despite his dad being an ex-hero and his sister Ren a genius scientist, James often feels overlooked, seeking refuge as a top battle mage in "Endless Fantasy II," an online game.

His life takes an unexpected turn when he walks away unharmed from a superhuman fight. James discovers he can morph into his game character, but with a catch: his avatar is a female demoness.

The setting is an alternate 2013 shaped by a Cold War experiment gone wrong, granting a fraction of people superpowers. However, this story isn't about superheroes; it's a blend of Mystical and Urban Fantasy, focusing on magical and mysterious elements that stay hidden from most of the world.
