Protector, a sterile cross between a Shtriga and a Human. Lifespan is currently unknown, although their traditional term of service begins on their 35th year and ends with their death on their 100th year of life.

Servants of Moarteas Eterna and also known as true-bloods. They were never human. They have the ability to reproduce. Although they are not immortal, they are long-lived. The oldest known Shtriga lived to a very advanced age of 750 years. They need their Dhampir guardians for protection as they fall comatose during the day cycle.

Created by the Shtriga using venom glands connected to a set of spurs located directly behind the extending canines. A Shtriga can choose when and who to make Vatalas by the depth of the bite and whether the victim remains alive after. If rendered dead, the transformation can not occur. Vatalas means impure. Their creation, their entire species was brought about to be a helper race for the Shtriga.

One of three forces in the world. He is the force that brings rest to all things. He is the father of all mortal things and the creator of all Shtriga. His purpose is to help bring eternal rest where it is needed to maintain the balance for Natura.

Once known as Luma in the Primordial times, she is the Mother of all things. She rejoices in bringing life to fill the void of death. Without her intervention, soon nothing would exist.

Father of Chaos and the third force in the world. He is the sole entity at work to battle the balance of the other two. Chance is the enemy of fate. Free will is the opposite of predetermination. He wreaks havoc on the creation that the Forces of balance work to maintain. 

What the Dhampir refers to as Romanian. Many of the terms found in this glossary are rooted in Romanian or folklore and legend. It has been an interesting experience to say the least.

There are many more names, places, and lore but I will add them as I release the chapters. I have plenty more chapters complete but I do not want to dump them all at once on anyone that is wanting to read them. I would rather release them on a more scheduled approach. 

Son of Gerald of House Bacui and heir apparent to title Grand Maestru of the city-state Marumures.

Grand Maestru of the city-state Marumures and patriarch of the greater House Bacui. Also, as is tradition, he is father of his Dhampirs, Karen and Heath. 

Senior Dhampir of the House Bacui and the oldest known Dhampir to ever live at the age of 150. She has earned a fierce reputation and has the highest known kill count in Marumures' history. She is the mentor of Heath.

Novice Dhampir of House Bacui. At the age of 30, he still looks like a person half his age and he still has five more years until he will be eligible to become a guardian.
