Meet Eric Guardineer, son of the first Magician Lee Guardineer, a minor supervillain who used his skills and technology to rob his audience. He was apprehended by Ant-Man. Sent to prison, he made his son promise to use his abilities for good
His son Eric however, was used in a minor scam, which brought him into the path of Ant-Man again. But after clearing a misunderstanding, he was sent free, and instead worked together with Ant-man to solve the case
A skilled hypnotist, pickpocket and master in minor electronic and tricked gadgets, Eric mastered all his father thought him, and now approaching 30, had hardly made anything of himself and was an anonymous bystander in New York as life passed him by
Eric always dreamed of being a superhero like Spider-man, perhaps a magical hero using his skills acquired from his dad.
But the best laid plans however often go awry, and Eric's dreams of becoming a super-hero soured the more and more he plunged into depravity
I feel like this story has lost direction, the MC was introduced as being subtle and careful in the beginning
backing off from having Mary Jane all to himself all the time, having one night stands and erasing the memory of his victims, but then after gaining powers things went downhill very fast. From there he kept escalating until he backed himself into a corner, and ended up dying and exchanging bodies. Totally understandable, but after all that MC still has not found a purpose again, does he want power? Women? What is the end goal now? Things are just happening at random, better find a direction fast, otherwise readers will just lose interest.
