After a swift stroll around town completing the commencement of my professions and beginning new quests, I head over to the east gate, towards the Ashur Woods. The same few guards were there last time, so with a glance and a nod, they let me through cleanly, seemingly recognizing me from before.

Heading out the gate, it was much busier than the last time I saw it. Several players littered the surrounding area, and they were killing the mobs faster than they could respawn. A couple of groups were formed across the field, and some players would occasionally get into small quarrels about the loot, but I was looking for a specific one in particular.

"Winter: You're in Ashur Woods Trail, right?"

"White: That is the place."

"Winter: Can't see you."

"White: Check again; we should be noticeable."

Peering around, a multitude of players seen. I could make out some of the classes, but no Assassin class was spotted, and no nametag I could see that resembled 'White.' Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough?

"Winter: Still, don't see it."

"White: Are you on the right channel, then?"

"Winter: Oh, I don't know."

"White: We're on Channel two."

"Winter: That makes more sense."

I feel so dumb! I forgot to check what channel I was in. It was a rookie mistake, but something that hadn't crossed my mind, probably because I was looking around at the scenery too much. I guess it's not that huge of a mistake, because, with a quick channel change, I was able to notice White in the vicinity instantly.

"I'm here!" I yelled, waving to him. It looked like he was preoccupied because he was talking to two other people, probably conversing about game mechanics and what they planned on doing. I didn't know for sure, because I actually couldn't hear him.

White, quickly drew his attention towards me, gestures with an invitation. I nod quickly and head towards him. The two players next to him were new faces that I had never seen before, but I could soon recognize their classes immediately after peering at their equipment.

The first one was a female Assassin, with medium-sized dark black hair in a ponytail and a relatively small figure. She stood the shortest out of the group; however, her cutting violet eyes and her always-annoyed demeanor told me that talking to her was going to be difficult. The other one next to White was an archer, on the other hand, clad in bright turquoise-blue clothing.

The archer seemed more approachable, and her smile portrayed a fragile complexion. She didn't look anything out of the ordinary, however. She had short, black hair in a Japanese style cropped bob cut. The only thing that was immediately noticeable was her finely crafted bow, laced with many bright cerulean ornaments that stood out from plain clothing that she wore.

"Hello," I said, slightly bowing. It was good to get a solid first impression, especially when they're White's friends.

"I'll introduce you," White said, patting me on the shoulder, "This is the friend I was talking to you about earlier."

He pointed at the short Assassin girl, and she briskly looks towards my direction. I give a slight smile and extend my hand for a handshake in response. Her arms were crossed, and her eyes dart around my figure, but she doesn't extend her arm out to match mine. She only narrows her eyes and averts her gaze away from me abruptly afterward.

I chuckle nervously because it was starting to get awkward. Maybe Kuro really was that cautious.

"Hello, White's friend!" The other person beside White said.

The archer excitedly snatches my extended hand, shaking it vigorously.

"Ah, hello?" I asked, dazed at the sudden turn of events.

"Name's Atalanta, but you can call me Alli." She gave a quirky smile.

Peering above her head, her nameplate did indeed read 'Atalanta'. You had the option of hiding your nameplate, so most players would choose to do so. When giving their name out to people via word-of-mouth, however, the system automatically detects it and displays you their name.

"Ah, sweet, you can call me Winter."

"That's a cool name!" She chuckled, "Get it? Cool?"

The female Assassin rolled her eyes in response, and White gave a small smile.

After getting acquainted with Atalanta, I turned towards White.

"What about her?"I asked White, turning towards the short girl, "What's your friend's name?"

White got close to my ear and was about to tell me, but he stopped midway, catching a menacing glare from the small and slight girl. White chuckled nervously and bumped my shoulder calmly, signaling that if I wanted to know her name, then I would have to confront her myself.

"Ah, sorry." I replied, turning towards her, "Can I ask your name?"

She pauses for a second.

"Kuro." She says flatly.

My eyebrows raised a tad bit, slightly surprised the actually went through and gave me her name. I tried to continue the conversation, but it seemed like she didn't want any part of it. White notices the tension and quickly interjects.

"Alright, is everyone ready?" White exclaims.

The rest of the group nods, and we proceed to talk about the plan.

"Alright, so." White starts, "We're gonna clear the main dungeon of Ashur Woods. It's hidden off from the central trail, but I was able to find it pretty quickly since it hadn't changed from its previous place. The reason we're doing this is that there is a particular drop in this dungeon that's really good, and it's also an excellent place to start leveling up quickly. "

"Oh, right," I said, nodding slightly. "You're a beta tester."

"Wait, I didn't know this," Kuro intervened noticeably, throwing a peculiar look at White.

"That's right, I forgot to tell you!" White asserted, pretending not to notice. "Anyways, this dungeon won't be easy. The dungeon itself is located at the very bottom of a cavern, but we have to travel through networks of cave entrances and tunnels to get through it. The monsters start easy at the top, but as we descend, it will get harder."

"Alright, what's the plan then?" Atalanta chimes in, "Do we just brute force our way through?"

"Somewhat." White says, holding up his finger, "Other players have already discovered the entrance of the cave, so it's only a matter of time before they start forming groups to clear the dungeon. What we have to do is a tag along with the groups, and then eventually split off once we get to a certain area."

"Why?" It was Kuro that spoke this time, "Can't we just four-man the cave?"

"No, eventually, we'll get to a point where there are too many mob clusters to go through as a team of four properly. We could learn the mob's attack patterns ourselves, but the easier route would just be letting the other groups handle them first."

"Won't the groups just take the boss's loot for themselves, then?" Kuro scoffed.

"Nope!" White said, "The boss dungeon itself is instanced, meaning that it's disconnected from the cavern. The dungeon's maximum limit is four people, so we're in a perfect group to take it on."

"So, it takes several groups of players to go through the cavern, but only groups of four can take on the dungeon itself?" Atalanta inquired.

"Right, that's why it's key to work together with other groups," White said.

"Anything we should know about the boss?" Kuro asked.

"I'll get to it once we're close."

"Drop distribution?"

"Need before Greed."

"How about we do Rolling instead?" Kuro claimed.

"That works too."

"What about the caverns?" I voiced in, "What's the level requirement?"

"Five through Fifteen."

"Meaning?"

"Starts as low as level five, but as we go deeper, the max is fifteen."

I nod my head, "Gotcha."

After a brief exchange with the other members, we quickly followed White towards the destination. We moved through layers of shrubbery and greenery. Every now and then, we would be fighting off wolves and other monsters in the forest until we discovered a forest clearing. A bright entrance of a cavern presented itself. Since no one was there, the party was firstly confused. Atlanta was the first one to notice, as she was peering around with intense vigor.

"Where is everyone?" Atalanta questioned, tilting her head.

"Tch, he always does this," Kuro interjected, seemingly getting annoyed.

"H-hey!" White exclaims, giving a nervous chuckle, "I just forgot to explain some things."

"Such as?"

"This channel is only meant to get us into the path without alerting others."

"So, we're supposed to change channels?"

"Th-that's correct."

Kuro rolls her eyes, giving White a meaningful stare. White only puts both of his hands up in the air, shrugging apologetically. I shuddered, not knowing Kuro could be that frightening, especially when the person she's intimidating was White. Maybe they've had some unique relationship in the past.

"Come on, guys!" Atalanta voices, "We shouldn't get too complacent."

"Just tell me the Channel," Kuro stated.

"Channel Ten."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Kuro didn't wait for anyone else, immediately disappearing from everyone's view. I took a brief glance at White, raising one of my eyebrows. He looks me with a face that said something along the lines of, 'It couldn't be helped.' He ruffles his hair and then waves his hand in front of him, opening up his interface. I do the same because it seemed like all of us were switching channels once again.

Upon changing channels, the quiet murmurs of the forest turn into a deep commotion of voices. The sudden change in sound caught me off guard, causing me to jump slightly at the sight of the other players. The cave entrance, which contained only us four, immediately looked different when a crowd of people gathered. Peering around, several groups were crowding around in jumbled bands, each with their own unique name tags and voices.

Amongst the masses, some of the players already noticed White. A burly man walked up to White, starting a boisterous conversation with him. I couldn't make out what they were saying over the noisy chaos, but I wanted to get closer and see what it was about. Kuro, on the other hand, who was somehow already leaning against a nearby tree, slowly walked towards my direction.

"This isn't your first time, is it?"

"Hm?" I asked.

"White has a habit of bringing on new players to help him with his 'adventures' and whatnot." Kuro spoke, rolling her eyes, "It seems you're a bit more competent than the others he brings along, so I wanted to talk to you a little."

"Oh, seriously?" I pondered, "How could you tell?"

"Duh." She stated, pointing at my chest.

"Oh," I said, looking down at my necklace. "That makes sense."

"So, what's your story?" Kuro said, "Where'd you meet White?"

I scratched my chin, pondering the question. "You first!" I exclaimed, giving a clean smile.

She gave a slight frown, and small words almost escaped her mouth. She stopped midway through; however, her face increasingly glowing a tint of light pink. She averted her gaze away from me and closed her red lips, giving a small sigh. It's as if the memory of meeting White gave her embarrassment.

"Won't say." She murmured.

"Won't say?"

"I said I won't say!" She exclaimed this time, crossing her arms, almost pouting, "Never mind, I asked."

I could only give a small chuckle in response, "It's alright. I'll tell you mine."

I quickly went through the details of how I first came into contact with White. She would sometimes voice some questions but never interrupt me. She wasn't talkative, but she was most definitely intrigued about my circumstances with White. We shared a bit of dialogue with each other, but I couldn't help but notice the slight tension between our conversation.

"Yo!" Atalanta yelled out of nowhere, appearing next to us, "So that's where you guys went!"

"Hmph," Kuro scoffed, "What do you want?"

"White talked to the other party leaders, so we're gonna set up a formation to enter the caverns soon."

"That was quick." I blurted out. I thought it would've taken a lot longer.

"Yea!" Atalanta exclaimed, giving me two thumbs up, "Apparently, White set it up with the other leaders a while back."

"That's... a first," Kuro voiced out.

"Yes, somewhat," Atalanta lamented. "But don't tell him that."

"Speaking of which, how did you guys two meet anyways?"

"Are you talking about Kuro and me or me and White?" Atalanta asked, tilting her head.

"Both?"

"Well, I always knew Kuro. She's a good friend of mine."

"Well, I wouldn't say that," Kuro replied.

"Right, right, sure," Atalanta replied sarcastically. "Anyways, it was Kuro who introduced  me to White."

"I gotcha," I replied, nodding my head, not wanting to peer into the matter further. "Let's see what White is up to, then."

It was White that came to us instead of the other way around. The original plan was for us to head towards White and get accommodated with the other leaders, but before we could do so, White already grouped with us. It didn't help that the two other players, the girls, weren't too enthusiastic about talking to other members. They wanted to converse with themselves.

"So what're you guys up to," White said, returning to us.

"Just waiting for you, idiot," Kuro replied.

"What she said." Atalanta

"So I got some good news and bad news," White said.

"Bad news first," I answered.

"Yeah, I figured you were gonna say that," White replied.

"It can't be that bad, right?" Atlanta questioned.

"Well, the bad news is that we're going to have to team up with the rest of the raid group." White answered, "The good news is that I'll try to distract them later on in the dungeon so that we can split off."

"Can't you just give an excuse?" Kuro asserted.

"An excuse to ditch them?" White questioned, "That would be rude of me, and reputation is king in this game."

"He's right." Atlanta replied solemnly, "Ruining your reputation can cause a lot of problems in the future."

"Is that a mechanic in the game, or something?" I tilted my head, interjecting.

"No." White cut through sharply, "I'm talking about actual reputation. If you do something bad, then rumors will start spreading around about the type of player you are."

"Ah, I get it."

White continued his conversation, mainly explaining our roles within the collective players that were raiding within the dungeon. He went over positioning at certain cave intervals and how the further that we progressed into the dungeon, we should be aware of traps and hidden clues.

I couldn't hear everything he mentioned, because White was interrupted in his long speech. The buff and burly man from earlier approached White, and subsequently our little group that wanted to stay away from as many players as possible. It was slight, but I could hear Kuro give a small scoff.

"Oi, come join us!" The buff man said, his expression filled with excitement. He wrapped his shoulders around White, almost as if they had been long-time friends.

"Let me introduce you to my friends," White responded, introducing each of us individually.

"Salutations!" The buff man replied, "Name's Dune."

"What an interesting name!" Atlanta voiced.

"It is true." He replied, "You youngsters should meet the groups, get acquainted before we start the raid."

"We'll keep your offer in mind." Atalanta bowed.

Dune's face lit up with her reply, and we quickly joined the raid to get acquainted with the members. Kuro wasn't too keen at first, but with some convincing on White's part, we managed to socialize with the members pretty readily. Walking towards the crowd of players, small groups were already being formed.

I could see the archers and mages lining up within their respective groups and a strong frontline force that consisted of tank classes and damage classes. Players of all ages were present, from people that looked like they were in their bare teens, to people that must have been in their late fifties; their gruff and deep voice permeating through the air.

"Spend some time to get to know each other," Dune told us, "We still have a bit of time before we can start the raid."

"How much time?" Kuro asked.

"Like... ten minutes." Dune replied, peering at his interface,  "We have to wait on the hour."

"On the hour?" Kuro questioned, "Can you explain?"

Dune took a glance at White, but White only dismissed it. Turning back to Kuro, he finished what he was going to say, "Well, the dungeon has an interesting respawn timer. Usually, each mob has a respawn timer, but in this dungeon; it overlaps with the previous one."

"What's that mean?"

"So, every hour, there must be a minimum of 'x' mobs. Usually, each mob has it's own respawn timer, but this dungeon itself will respawn all the mobs in the cavern every hour."

"That makes sense." Kuro nodded, "We wouldn't want to get pincered at the wrong time."

"Exactly."

While Kuro seemed to enjoy talking to Dune, Atalanta was preoccupied with the rest of the raid members. I decided to join her to keep the company but she seemed more than capable to start a long-winded conversation with others, a skillset that I unfortunately lacked. I originally decided to stay quiet at first but was somehow dragged into the discussion on a whim.

Several players addressed me, each of them hastily introducing themselves. There was a Knight named Yama, a Berserker named Tony, a Warlord named Fwee, and several others that only jumped in and out of the conversation. It looked like Atalanta stumbled upon most of the group of players that were supposed to be positioned at the frontline.

"So guys, how are you enjoying the game?" Atalanta voiced out, filled with excitement. Her energy was quickly translated to the other members, almost as if she was beckoning them on to speak up.

"I-it's good." The person who replied was Fwee. She was a Warlord with a long spear mounted on her back, but she appeared very shy. She was fidgeting with her fingers like it was hard for her to properly tell what she was really thinking. The other members lowered their voice, waiting for her to speak her words.

"Don't worry about it!" Yama replied, wrapping his arms knit around Fwee. "She's just a tad shy."

Blushing, Fwee got even more embarrassed than before but didn't stop Yama from hugging her tightly. I widened my eyes somewhat in surprise. Something interesting just happened, and it wasn't just me that noticed it. Everyone else was a bit surprised too.

They seemed really close to each other. Maybe lovers?

Fwee had short hair tinted light purple, while Yama had bright red hair. Both of them looked of Asian descent and about the same height, Yama being slightly taller. Both of them couldn't have been older than at least twenty one, considering their good looks and youthful demeanors.

"Statistically, the game is very popular already." Tony answered in the background, "However, I have yet to see anything out of the ordinary."

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"Well, compared to most MMO's, some of the mechanics are very similar."

"Ah, I understand now." I replied, "So you want to see something new?"

"That would be preferable," Tony replied, tucking his glasses.

"You hear about the private beta, then?" Yama asked.

"Well, it's not private if almost everyone knows about it." Tony scoffed, "But yes, I do."

"Wait, bring me up on the details," I said, wanting to know a bit more about the situation.

"Wait, you don't know about it?" Tony asked, his eyes suddenly transfixed on me.

"Well, somewhat." I nervously chuckled.

"Well, they supposedly-" Tony answered, using air-quotes, "Supposedly, had this private beta where they got top players from other MMO's to test out the game prior to launch."

"Rumors like that are already spreading that fast?" Atalanta replied.

"Apparently, the content was pretty good," Tony stated, "I have yet to see it, though."

Atalanta looked at me, and we probably thought the same thing. White wasn't going to be able to keep his undercover status as long as he originally intended. Whether or not we were gonna tell him was something that was still up in the air. I didn't want to unintentionally piss White off.

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see," Yama replied, "I hear this dungeon is pretty hard."

"Speaking of the dungeon," Atalanta spoke, "How hard do you think it is?"

"Like, on a scale of one to ten?" Yama said.

"Well, what would you consider a ten?"

"I don't know, like a world boss?"

"So, what would you say the dungeon is then."

"I haven't actually been in it," Yama scratched his head, "but from what I hear from other players, I would give it like a six."

"Other players?" Atalanta frowned.

"Well you see, we're not the first group to try to clear this dungeon." Tony replied, butting in, "There was a bigger group a few hours ago."

"But how?" I suddenly questioned, "The game isn't even out for more than a day."

"See, that's where the private beta rumors started spreading out. Someone proclaimed they were a beta tester, and with the help of this unknown person, the group managed to clear seventy percent of the caverns."

"People tend to flock to something they've never seen before," Yama agreed, "So, it's no wonder everyone stopped what they were up to join the raid."

"Well, why couldn't they clear it then?" Atlanta asked.

"Everyone was severely under-leveled, especially at the later sections of the cavern," Tony replied, shuffling his glasses. "They still managed to get good drops, so it wasn't a complete waste, but no one has yet to clear the dungeon yet."

"I-I heard there w-was a boss room..." Fwee whispered meekly.

"Yeah, yeah." Tony said, "That too."

"What do you think the boss will be like?" Yama asked, "I heard that it was a giant spider."

"Really?" Tony said, "I heard that it was a golem."

"I think that's cooler!" Yama exclaimed, "Or, there could just be nothing."

"I doubt that. They wouldn't have a deep cavern with no boss."

"Speaking of which, how big is the cavern anyways?" I asked, "Does anyone know?"

"It shouldn't take more than one hour to get to the bottom." Tony replied, "But the tunnels and disconnected sections and dead ends are what take the most time to figure out."

"Does the raid group have a plan to circumvent that?"

"Well, it's a good thing that some of the leaders of this raid were in the previous one."

"Oh, so they know where to go?"

"Well, they drew a mind map of the cavern. I don't know the exact specifics, but they recruited a pretty hefty crowd this time, so I don't think we'll have to worry."

"You think we can clear it?"

"I hope so," Tony sighed, "We definitely meet the level requirements now, but I don't know if our numbers are good enough."

"Are you speaking from experience, or?"

"Who knows," Tony said, avoiding the question.

"Tell us more about you two!" Yama asserted, "We're just a ragtag group of frontliners. How'd you guys find this dungeon out."

"I got introduced by my friend, White," I said, pointing at him in the distance. He was discussing some things with Dune and Kuro, but other than that, nothing else seemed to be happening.

"Same with me," Atalanta stated.

"Oh, that guy?" Yama replied, "He's a bit ominous and mysterious, isn't he."

"Really?" I widened my eyes, "How so?"

"Well, you see..." Tony interjected, "He's already such a high level. Look at him. There's no way he could've done that normally. He must've had some help."

"Maybe he's just a good grinder?" Yama replied.

"Mobs in this area don't give that much EXP." Tony stated, "I did the math, and it doesn't add up. He's either done extra quests or at least something that would affect his experience gain."

"I think you're reading too much into it."

"You think so?" Tony murmured, "I might be."

"W-well, you guys know him." Fwee said to us, "H-hows he like..?"

"Fwee!" Yama exclaimed, "You shouldn't ask about things like that, it's bad manners."

"O-oh. Sorry."

"No, it's fine!" Atalanta laughed, "White's pretty chill. Not that bad of a person."

"R-really?"

"Yeah, he can be a pain sometimes though." Atalanta voiced, "He forgets to tell people things sometimes. He just assumes they already know, but act surprised when he finds out they don't. I feel like he does it on purpose sometimes."

"What about his talent?" Tony said, fixing his glasses once more, "Is he good mechanically?"

"He's one of the best I've seen, that's for sure."

"Agreed," I said.

The conversation continued on for several more minutes, and it would have definitely continued on for a lot longer if a loud horn didn't blare at the very front. We stopped our speech immediately, quickly shifting our attention towards the front of the cave entrance. There was White next to Dune and a couple of other unknown raid leaders. Kuro was nowhere to be found, but she quickly appeared before us and stood comfortably next to Atalanta.

"Welcome everyone!" Dune bellowed, his voice reaching all of us, "We have about two minutes before the raid starts, so I would like to get some preliminary rules out of the way."

The crowd voiced shouts of agreement. Their energy was astounding, even I was getting affected. The morale was high, so there was a great chance that the dungeon would clear with no hitches. I didn't want to jinx it, so I didn't say anything to Kuro or Atalanta.

"We're going to set up a frontline and a backline group heading into this dungeon. This will let us be prepared for whatever comes our way. I've private messaged all of you the details of our formation and the initial map layout of the cavern, so please check that over before we head in. If you have not received it, then please message me and I will provide you with them. Does anyone have any questions before we proceed?"

No one raised their hands or voiced any concerns, everyone was on the same page.

"Good!" Dune exclaimed, "Alright, the cavern is built up of several winding paths and dead ends, so make sure to stick with the group! To help us with reconnaissance, White will check the upcoming tunnel of networks every now and then to notify us of its contents. If you are part of the Assassin class tree, then I suggest you come to him for any help you might need."

Dune pointed at White, and White raised one of his hands in response. The crowd that was most partially silent started to stir, and some murmurs could be heard throughout the crowd of players. Each one of them had a different take on White, but the general consensus was pretty positive.

"Woah, look at his level."

"Dude, how did he get that high so fast?"

"He's kind of cute, to be honest."

"If he's in the raid, then there's no way we fail, right?"

I looked at Kuro, and she could only roll her eyes and scoff at the other players. Yama and Fwee had a slight look of surprise, but Tony remained calm and diligent as usual. He did catch eye contact with Kuro however, noticing her interesting behavior, but didn't say anything.

"Alright, alright. Calm down." Dune said, slimming the voices of the crowd below, "Remember to check in with your respective groups, make sure everyone is there. The other leaders will make sure everything goes according to plan. No quarreling, save your disputes until after the raid, and let's remember to have fun, everyone!"

The crowd quickly cheered in excitement and started scuffling around, changing positions. The entire raid was moving into the cave entrance to set up everything, so I thought I would do the same. We quickly wave our goodbyes to the frontline group from earlier, and we grouped with White, which was standing near the head of the cave entrance.

"So, what's the plan for us?" I asked Kuro since she spoke with White earlier.

"Just follow his lead." Kuro said, "We're not like the rest of the groups, we're gonna do reconnaissance with him."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"I mean, duh." Kuro pointed out, "How else are we going to ditch them later on?"

"You're telling me we're gonna ditch this whole group?!"

"No." Kuro rolled her eyes, "Us four are going to get 'lost' into the caverns."

I facepalmed. So, that was the plan then.

"And what, we're gonna tell them to move on without us?"

"Wow!" Kuro exclaimed ironically, "It looks like you can use your brain."

"Wh-whats with the sudden aggression." I asked, "Did something happen."

She didn't say anything at first, only giving a long sigh, "Sorry, some of the other leaders pissed me off."

"Ah..." I replied. I decided to stop talking about the matter.

"Well, I don't mind." Atalanta said, "I mean, getting lost or whatever."

"What about the other Assassins?"

"What other Assassins?" Kuro raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't Dune say something about that...?"

"Yeah, shouldn't the other Assassin classes would also be grouping with White, right?" Atalanta said.

"That's OK!" Kuro smiled nonchalantly, "I'll take care of them."

"Take care of them as in how?" I chuckled worriedly.

"I won't say." She smiled even brighter, closing her eyes this time.

"...Lets just group with White," Atalanta said, "We'll get to that part when it comes."

Heading to the front of the crowd, the raid group got into position pretty quickly. Tanks and Melee's in the front, Assassins on the side, Healers and Ranged classes in the back, and at the very head of it all, Dune and the other raid leaders. White was positioned to the side, where we could clearly see him. There were three other people besides him, probably also doing recon with him. He sees us approach and quickly motions us forward.

"What's up, guys!" White exclaims, "Glad you could join."

He introduces us to the other players beside him, and we were one step closer to starting the raid. Kuro and Atalanta got acquainted with them pretty quickly. We were supposed to enter the dungeon first, and then the rest of the raid would follow. White, with quick use of his feet, dove into the dark and deep, most definitely monster-infested cavern.

The rest of us started doing the same, following White to something that would either be our timely demise, or riches beyond our imagination. I honestly hoped it was the latter, but im fine with whatever at this point.

"But Winter! I thought you said you were gonna update consistently."

Nope, can't do it.

On a side note, would you guys like some short stories sprinkled in every now and then about the world of Arclight? My chapters are usually so long, so my novel doesn't get as much attention as it needs based on how the algorithm works. I was thinking of doing short stories every now and then to get it more noticed.
