Before I could think much about it though, there was a knock on the door, after which an enchanting voice called out from behind it.

"Carene? Open up already! I-I'm sorry for reacting so late.. But! Everything is okay now. Come out.. please?"

It's Big Sis Lin! She is here for me?

I walked towards the door with mixed feelings, as I grabbed the knob and turned it to open the door.

Soon, the sound of door unlocking came from upstairs, as Sis Lin started to come downstairs.. as she was dressed up in casual jeans and t-shirt.

In the end however, the tension seemed to be too thick for her as she bent down to grab a can of juice and chugged it down in one go.

She placed the now empty can on the desk and she went back to stare at me again.

Wait a minute! S-Something is different about her this time?

S-Sis Lin? Are you really alright? Why is your face turning even redder now?

Subconsciously, my sight ended up wandering over to the can of juice, as I tried to read it's label very carefully.
