Scene 35
Initiation
Under the dark blue street, there was underground village. There was no sun shining down, only light bulbs surrounding the whole area. As for the floor, rather than the flat street, rocky ground with bumps was there. Not only this, the whole village was rocky and bumpy since it was underground. But it was dyed with bright color like blue and yellow trying to make underground lively. Blue was dyed upper side to look like a sky and yellow in downside to make it look like golden grasses. However, ground was not colored. It was pure brown colored ground. In the full point of view, few houses that were constructed by woods, rocks, and metals. They were not that big of a size, but big enough to fit in few Hellbeasts. Unlike from above, there were not many Hellbeasts strolling around. Air and atmosphere were stiffened and was full of lifeless energy. In between, among those Hellbeasts, Kyondame, Velloke, and his master were seen in the scene discussing while walking rocky ground. The thirty fifth scene will cover the Kyondame's initiation.
To catch up with the late introduction, Unknown character called Master needed to be identified. Jekkel Hossei, he had grey hair with black eyes. His ears were pieced with two diamond shaped earrings. He was not too short, not too tall having height of 170cm. He was wearing blue jacket over white shirt and wore white shorts. He owned the underground system and the master of the guild named Merlas. While back, they were under attacked by other guild without a notice, so they attacked back to revenge and need a place to stay. So they made underground place.
"So what is this Mage hunting you speak of?"
Hossei immersed into the subject. Although he knew Mage hunting meant killing Mage, but he was curious who they were after.
"Going over to Erlias is against the rule,. Are you still okay with that?"
Kyondame asked as she turned her head to his way. Seeing devilish smile on her face, Hossei smiled back taking out something to show her. It was wanted poster. It had Hossei's face smiling with sharp eyes. Under the image, there were numbers. The numbers started off with fifteen and ended with eight zeros.
"I am already in the bounty post, making me outlaw. What could go wrong? I'll be just going against the law which I did already."
Kyondame wasn't that shocked. There were many guilds that fell down and went against the laws such as stealing, abusing their power, sexual assault, and etc.In Mages' point of view, they might be savage beasts, but they were no different that Mages or Human World. They had morals, laws, and good and evil along with guilds who trust and guilds who don't.. Farther explanations will be explained later.
"Che, you sure are something, how many men ya got?"
Hossei opened two arms to give an answer.
"Well, look around you, how many Hellbeasts do you think are in here? Also, if you aren't satisfied with these numbers, I have some more in upper ground keeping eye for those who are trying to find us."
"I am rather surprised that they didn't even find you yet."
Kyondame muttered as she rubbed her chin.
"No, they found us many times, but what happened to them is what you should be asking."
There was sudden silence in the air. Kyondame paused for a moment to think with clueless mind. Not a minute later, she was able to figure out what Hossei was trying to say. Assuming she figure out what happened to them, he gave out a smirk looking at her waiting for her to tell him who they were after.
"Well, this should be tricky, but are you interested in fighting with higher up?"
She pointed her index finger pointing up as she gave out a smirk as well. Without a reply, he nodded as though he understood who she was after. This caught his attention right away. He zapped the wanted poster he had with his lightning magic. The paper turned into black then eventually turned into ashes. He was so excited , the yellow glowing lightning surrounding his two fingers were still glittering even though there was nothing there.
"Empty World eh? I am not sure we have a chance against them, but couldn't hurt to try, don't you think?" And if we do achieve our goal by sabotaging the places, our fame will spread out."
Velloke seemed to be excited as well. He started off with his habit of cracking his neck. He tilted his neck right and left a little to make loud cracking sounds four times. And as the crack sound came out of his neck his arm gradually turned into solid shiny gray metal. He fist bumped himself.
"So when is this going to happen?"
"Isn't it obvious? Right now."
When Kyondame answered, they looked eye to eye and nodded at the same time. Hossei snapped his finger to make golden magical circle above covering most of the wooden, and metal built structures. In side of the magical circle, dozens of lightnings were summoned. It came down to strike down all the objects that were in their way. After all the constructions, one by one, Hellbeasts living in there, came out stretching their arms and legs.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I think we will have another adventure ahead of us! Except, this might be life time opportunity."
Hellbeasts whispered as if they had no idea what he was talking about.
"I assure you! This will be entertaining. Of course there will be obstacles on the ways, but we will be invading members of the Empty World!"
As soon as they heard words Empty World, groups of Hellbeasts shouted and cheered loudly. Few of them were already geared with their weapons and armories.
While other Hellbeasts went wild, four Hellbeasts came up to them. Their faces were all hidden from the gray cloaks they were wearing covering top to bottom.
"So Empty World? How long have you been planning this?"
Right when Hossei was going to answer, they stared at Kyondame and understood the situation.
"I see, then we'll be waiting for you on the upper ground."
Just like that, they vanished into thick air.
Author's note: I normally write 1,00 ish words per chapter, but it feels like it is too short. Since there are description of some sorts like places and characters. I will try to expand the portion of the chapter to entertain more. However, downside would be, it will take good chunk of time so I might not be able to upload three per week.
