Scene 5

Determination

Room with clouds in the sky got more tense than before. The air pressureexisting in the room While all the crazy fight was happening in the center of the field, Shinji was observing both of their movements, but his eyes mostly studying Junpri's movements. Like Maxias, he was surprised by how fast his reaction was. On the other point of view, Junpei and Maxias were seen in the field. Despite fact that Junpei took a good chunk of damage, he was smiling as though he had alternative plan up his sleeves. Maxias's eyes made short ray of blue lights as he saw his every muscle movements. Then few seconds later, he got on his hands on the ground posing like the beast just like the fight from yesterday. Of course, Maxias realized the pose, but he couldn't stop thinking what the pose was all about. Instead of initiating his attack, he stood still thinking how he got that pose from. When he was lost in his own thought, he realized Junpei was missing. Instead of him, golden bolts of lightning left over replaced his spot. The fifth scene will take over where the last scene had left off.

Maxias shook his left and right. He took his sheathed katana and threw it on the ground. When the light looking katana dropped, it crushed the ground making a crack in the ground. at that very moment, little pieces of pebbles levitated around the katana. Maxias mumbled as he was warming up to chase Junpei.

"I told you to calm down, your aura is out of the place like Kanzaki's aura actually. You are not going to hit me by just circling around this field. Pathetic."

Likewise, he disappeared in think air leaving just the wind and not a second later, Maxias appeared far left in the field kicking Junpei in the face. He did get hit, but when he went other side of the wall, he quickly charged up all the electricity as he flipped so his feet could touch the wall. When the feet touched the wall, they made a crack to stick in the wall making him stuck into the wall for a second. Then as the electricity charged up got discharged. The good amount of electricity boosted allowing him to charge at Maxias in mid air breaking the wall.

Shinji who was watching outside of the field was intrigued by how he was stratetizing his way out trying to land one hit. he warned as he turned his face to Maxias.

"You should be careful, seems like he is a great strategizing or you will lose."

"Hah, you wish, I dealt countless battles, no matter how good his strategy is, he has no experience. You know all that."

He jumped a bit to moving his body forward to approach Junpei initiating his counter attack. However, when he threw a punch, Junpei pressured his hand to make electricity surrounding his arm. He then pushed away his arm away slightly At this point, Maxias was caught off guard because he didn't think that Junpei could dodge his attack, but he realized how he was able to do it when he saw thousands of images flipping in reflection in his eyes.

"Che, you sure are unpredictable."

Now it was Junpei's turn to attack back. He threw his punch filled with lightning for the first time. For Maxias, this was first experience even for him. He had never seen one who had agitated aura could be this focused having concentrated mind. But, of course, his attacks were just a child play for him. His attacks were too obvious. However, he had a strange feeling he was up to something.

"You are quite a brave guy. Strategizing to actually approach up front like this. Not to mention, one step close to opening second gate. I am rather surprised, but it's time to end this."

Suddenly, the aura Maxias was possessing went wild It constantly gathered on the the right side of arm. It gradually took over his arm. It was just like the same aura, but one thing that was peculiar was that, aura manipulated its shape to look like it was a blade. End of his hand was invisible aura that gathered to make sharp acute angle at the end. He swung his hand with all his might. When he did, it made huge amount of wind wave leaving slash marks everywhere on the wall.

Junpei, too was caught up with this strong wind. His clothes were all teared up apart showing sliced marks on his bare skin. Thankfully, he managed to balance his body entact on the ground accumulating electricity in his feet, but his hands were at his injuries. He was realized how brutal the attack was. It only took few seconds to make him kneel on the ground due to his brutal injuries. Maxias closed the distance and looked down at him.

"Power, Speed, Stamina, and Strategy, these status flows in every Mage, Hellbeasts, Humans, and in every life force. And we rely on one or two status we choose and train them to be your weapon. I rely on Stamina and Speed, that will support me to move quicker without breaking a sweat. And I carry my heavy katana to train my upper body to increase my strength, not equally, but sufficient enough to make a heavy damage."

Junpei didn't say anything, or rather he couldn't talk, but he did took a glance at him looking up with puzzled face. Maxias continued.

"What you are lacking is your what status do you rely on? Every status has advantages and disadvantages, In order to even attack me, you first have to realize what your type is and you have to use that as a weapon. But then again, you only have a day to figure it out. It might be too late. You might as well give up."

Maxias then put his hand coated with sharp aura down at Junpei and was about to finish the match, but it was interrupted by Junpei's words.

"My type, eh? who gives a damn about what typing, that is a cheap way of dividing things. I don't need to know that to win this match. All I have to do is be myself."

"pathetic, then I guess we have no further to go on."

With the last decision in his mind, Maxias struck his down at Junpei. There sure were a loud crash, but there was silence in the air when he saw Junpei hastily went behind him. However, he didn't attack. He just waited until Maxias to turn around to face him. When he did, Junpei gave a speech with determination to win.

"I am going to win, not the sake of wanting to learn about more about this world, nor to get stronger, now I am willing to win because to keep my promise."
