It might be a distant future, it might not be.
Everything that happens here is what it appears to be.
It is a not a World of Possibilities, but a World of Reality.
But the real question is, do you know what Reality is?
In a Universe not so unlike ours, Humanity continues to prosper. What was once certain, however, is now just a possibility.
Humans have left Earth and are not limited in their ability to communicate with themselves through space. What was once a possibility, Artificial Intelligence, is now a fact of life. Humans have "evolved", left behind their fragile flesh shells and have adopted means of extending, and improving, their lives, be it in quality or in length. But a part of it remains, with a very important meaning: to be human is to be of flesh.
But when most of the humanity is less of flesh, and more mechanised, one begs the question: what about those who are not of flesh? Robots and their "friends" have replaced humanity in the unsavoury heavy labour and left humanity with that which it had always dreamed of, the "easy life."
But is the "easy life" any easy? And is it really possible for humans to continue to be humans in such a time and place? What things beget such transformations? These are only a few of the things considered inside this book.

After scene 10, expect a break.
Surrealistic science fiction told in vignette style clips. A little confusing at times, but overall a worthy read.
