Allo, just wanna say this fanfic is my second go at envisioning a character in the position of supreme power; Kage. As Kages don't regularly do missions and violence often comes to them instead, there will be fewer fight scenes until Yagura/Jason begin to face the big threat to the Shinobi world. As such I'll mostly be exploring what *right* decisions Kirigakure could have taken and the challenges to those decisions post 3rd shinobi war, as well as trying to pre-empt Obito's Akatsuki with the current Kages; Onoki, Ay, Rasa, and Hiruzen/Minato.
As an aspect of the fic, it will be very Yagura/Kiri-centric with other villages and characters having interlude chapters in between. I am taking this route because, well, it's interesting and I want to discover more of what Kirigakure and its Legendary Swordsmen could have been.

I wrote a thing. Now as I have never written other stuff than some tabletop campaigns, I have no idea is this even interesting so I am asking for feedback on my writing. Give me some and I might write more.

SI means self insert. Meaning that the story's Naruto is written like I would react to stuff. And I know myself well enough that canon is totally and completely fucked, and I have no faith in my ability to spin a story without player interaction so this might get abandoned even if it becomes popular because I write something stupid. But all I want is some feedback ;)

And I do not know if I am capable of writing smut, so it is open if any will ever appear. I picked the tags and genre by what I currently expect, but we will see. Dirty language will be present, descriptions of violence and blood splatters around. And for all harem haters and lovers, I do not know yet. Personally I like well written harem, but can I do it? <<less

To me Naruto should have been promoted to Chunin when he came back after the bell test. He should have been studying how to be a proper Chunin on the Tenji bridge arc clashing with Sy along the way. He should have been promoted to Special Jonin after defeating Kakazu. He should have been promoted to Jonin after defeating Pain. Tsunade should have promised him the seat of Hokage after his clone's showing against Madara, when the Kage were going up against Madara. And Finally it should have ended with Naruto being the youngest Hokage of all time.

Zabusa lost because he underestimated Naruto and Sasuke's will to fight. And even though I dislike the ending, Madara Uchiha lost because he mistook someone else's will for his own. 

Tsunade's will of fire. Might Guy's willingness to die for the future generation. Obito's will being weakened by the life he could have lived resulting in his loss. Everything was about will. <<less
