If you want to be informed when I add a chapter to a story or a story to a collection, and not just when I do a profile post or start a new story, you can, but the setting is kind of hidden on a page separate from the other notification settings.  Click the bookmark icon on the latest chapter you've read (it's kind of a ribbon-looking thing, at the top or bottom of a chapter) to add it to your reading list. 

There have been four stories added to "False Positives and Other Stories" since my last profile post about it: "Cameron Wilson," a weird mystery, "An Underhaunted Courtship," a ghost story/romance, "Where She Belongs" and "Borrowing," two selkie stories.

I have gotten slack about putting Creative Commons license notices in the author's notes of my stories, so I went back and added them to all the stories that lacked them (and updated the older ones from the 3.0 US license to the 4.0 International license).  In non-legalese, you can share my stories and create derivative works based on them as long as you credit me as the original author and don't make money from your copies, adaptations and spinoffs.

It's been pointed out to me that with the way chapter two of "The Forbidden Name" went up early, people who follow me or the story weren't notified when chapter one went up this past Tuesday. So here's your notice.

Apologies for chapter two of "The Forbidden Name" going up early.  I must have made a mistake when scheduling it to appear in due course along with the other chapters.  I'm too tired to work on it tonight, but tomorrow (hopefully) I'll schedule the other chapters to appear -- probably on the next six Tuesdays rather than later in the year on Thursdays, as  I originally planned.  I don't think it's fair to make you wait until November to read the rest after teasing you with one chapter.

Could you add a link here to "Scouts" on the other sites? I don't use the other sites because they don't format well for phones.
