Whaaat?! The voice work is incredible in it though! There's so many little details and characterization shown through it. For an example that isn't too spoilery, the princess's whole tone and atmosphere changes depending on if you show up armed or not in your first encounter

Yeah I've seen that, but for some reason, idunno, I just don't like her voice :/ But also I'm a picky little baby when it comes to voice acting, so there's also that lol

This whole exchange really makes me want to see you given the time and resources to write and direct an audio drama

As far as the Saintess one goes, I'm actually super unsure! Eventually I'll put out my very first story on here with various revisions, and you'll probably be able to see some parallels, even though I never intended for the two to be anything alike, but honestly, I can't really say where the heck it came from since it morphed so crazily. At best, all I can say is that I like romance and Saintesses, and I wanted to make a little romance story between a dragon and a Saintess.

I actually started writing that story, but then I was like 'no no, this is all wrong' and stopped. A few months went by and I would think of it sometimes, and I think I was reading one of those generic isekai level up stories at the time when I was like 'wouldn't it be neat if?', and I basically reconstructed my saintess story from the ground up lol. Never meant for it to take as sinister a turn as it did, especially from the silly simple basis I made it on.

I like my characters to have a bit of a dark and sad past, sure, but then I want them to be happy in the end, you know? Only my first story was ever intended to be bleak on top of bleak. Writing so much bleakness doesn't really make me very happy.

Also crazy that Kale ended up becoming a bird instead of a dragon, considering. Jesus only knows how that happened. No way he could have stayed a dragon with that plotline, though, so that's probably why.

Honestly I don't even like bird-people! Or elves like in the plant story! How did this happen?!

(I say all that, but a lot of consideration actually went into Kale and Ek'Til being who they are lol, even if I look back and get surprised over how they've changed)
