I finally did it. i finished a series. now i have put out like one sitting stories before but this is the first real series that i have finished and it feels pretty great

Im gping to do it, i promise i will not give up on my stories. I just need to stop putting unrealistic expectations on myself. Its this terrible perfectionist mindset that got me here in the first place. But i will not quit. Im going to finish my stories

Welp, that was short lived. Can't blame them. With the lack of progress, my inability to publish anything within a decent amount of time and the poor quality of my writing. Honestly, im surprised anybody has stuck around.
I finally started therapy and my therapist said that anxiety is something that you can learn to overcome so, hopefully one day, i'll be able to get over this and started writing regularly.
Thank you everyone who has stuck around, i really dont deserve the faith you have in me
Worst part is that i have most of A Mask in Plain Sight finished, all the storyboarding is mostly done i just need to write it

I don’t care how long it takes you, the only reason I would ever unfollow someone is if I dislike everything they write and who I see them as. Neither of those apply to you, I enjoy what you write as well as who you are, the only reason I might unfollow you is if I don’t notice that I’m already following you and accidentally unfollow you, but I usually notice and refollow so don’t worry. Also you’re back up to 50 followers.
You must be doing something right. I agree with the others responding to your post. You write well. It's hard to stay realistic when dealing with anxiety. Put in the work with your therapist, and write when it's appropriate. I look forward to that.

I've been doing a bunch of storyboarding lately and was wondering how different writers may interpret this prompt
"For some masculinity is a warm coat that you wear year round, sometimes uncomfortable but always nice to have. But for some, it is like a prison or a strict set of rules that must be followed absolutely. What happens to these men when they forget these rules?"
i need to stop, honestly i write more storyboards than i do chapters. i can't help it though, my mind likes to sink its teeth into an idea and explore that. even if it is to the detriment of what i am doing at the time. ADHD is a double-edged sword. still a pain in the ass regardless. hehehe
well, i was hoping to get the next chapter out sooner but everything went wrong and i had to factory reset my computer. i have lost pretty much everything which sucks. thank god for google drive. either way, the next chapter of Moulting Fear is out, i hope you enjoy

Thank you for checking in on me. I really do appreciate it. Im trying... i really am. I just hope ill be able to write again.
I don't know what's wrong with me. I pull up the google doc and put my hands on the keyboard. But my hands, they start shaking and everything just goes blank. I'm trying to get over this setback but i keep thinking about how terrible i am at writing and how it's all pointless. The end results is always the same. I close the tab amd do something else.

it's okay, take all the time you need. i doubt anyone would want the story to be forced out of you if it genuinely hurts.
You are not a coward and I want you to remind yourself that everyday please and thank you. Also please remember that you are not obligated to write stories. If writing brings you stress or something do not write.
Please take some time for yourself and "do something else" without feeling any guilt. If you have some ideas jot them down on paper and move on. This is not a school assignment and there's no deadline or grade. You do this if and when you want to. As the others have shown, we appreciate you whether you're writing or not.
Will you be continuing a mask in plain sight? I really enjoyed you're story.
I dont know. After what happened the last time, i havent been able to write anything. I try but i cant do it. I am just plagued by thoughts of how i am going to fail and how everyone will hate the chapter. I would love to keep writing as it was something i genuinely enjoyed to do. But now, i dont know
Well please remember that failing leads to progression. And nothing will be perfect. There will always be some people who won't like stuff but please try not to let them influence you too much. We believe in you! So take you're time and when you are ready you can have fun writing again!
