I met Peter S. Beagle and he changed my life as a writer. A girl at one of his events asked: "Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?" He replied: "No I do not. There is no such thing as an 'aspiring' writer. If you like to write and you write, then you are a writer, plain and simple, and don't ever let anyone stop you."
