I agree - there are a number of very sensitive authors here and on other sites that can only handle getting gushy praise, as soon as you point out a plot hole or say you aren't enjoying a chapter or plot line you are blocked. 

Now I usually decide whether it is worth continuing to read as I found that authors I continued to read after being blocked for comments with constructive criticism or suggestions their stories have all turned into a mess because they are convinced of their superiority or get cancelled because of an obvious plot flaw that would have been pointed out if the author didn't block readers.
